In the East Frisian Kleinstadtidylle of Breitkirch in Northern Germany, all of a sudden everything gets turned upside down and nothing is as it was when 11-year old Dani Sörensen is found dead in the Wattenmeer.

To solve the mystery behind the young boy’s death, Bavarian Oberinspektor Alex Hartig and his colleague, local Frisian Elli Müller, have to uncover a whole town’s worth of secrets.

Share their excitement when it is uncovered what father Mark (Jan Josef Liefers) is hiding, and whether he is involved in his own son’s death - is he lying to protect the pretty hotel manager from Austria, Becki Fischer (Nina Proll)? And what does his wife Bettina (Martina Hill) know about it?
