i threw together this little thing to be my costume today!

Anyone want to see my collection of pixel art Hornets I've drawn during my video game development class? :D

These are all from the last month or so

The rules of pixel art Hornets is that

1: it must be drawn on the classroom computer, usually right before or after class starts or in short 5 minute intervals to take a break

and 2: it must use a new color palette

I used piskelapp.com to draw these and lospec.com for color palettes!

Roxy doodles (+ bonus jane)

drew all these while downloading the Unofficial Homestuck Collection to my laptop so I can reread it! Roxy is so ridiculously doodleable I love her

used the color palettes "neon night sky" and "pink neon sign 6" from lospec

& the gifs were made using Wigglypaint on itch.io!

got afflicted with insomnia and impulsively replaced my pinned post and changed up my pfps for my blogs. Here's the one I made for this blog! will probably change more tomorow. or later cause i'll be tired

Some empires s1 lizzie! The photos aren't great but i don't feel like going through my sketchbooks to get better ones so they'll have to do. I drew these around the same time i drew these empires s2 lizzies, but never posted them since i kept meaning to finish coloring the sketches but then never got around to it

I FOUND MY OLD HOLLOW KNIGHT HALLOWEEN ART I MADE WITH A MOUSE IN GIMP!!!

(or more precisely, colored in gimp on top of these photos) These are priceless treasures to me. you have no idea. i remember we printed out the first one with hornet and bug knight and taped it to our door on halloween, loki and i cosplayed as those two that year. So, this is the end of Oldartober! I missed a few days, but I'm very happy I did this! I'm thinking of posting old art every weekend from now on, because i have almost 1500 pieces of art saved to my photos and i probably haven't posted even 1/5th of it anywhere. If you read this, feel free to let me know what old art you'd be most interested in seeing in the future :D Also, Happy Halloween Non-Australians!!

The Veil

here's a bunch of the thumbnails I made for this one! It took me a little while to decide between above the water VS underwater, but I knew I wanted to focus on the sun and the surface of the ocean. I felt like I had a clearer idea for underwater with the corals, so that's the one I went with. I'd like to revisit some of these other concepts some day
