This was inspired by @jen-iii’s beautiful comic strip which can be found here. (Hope you don’t mind.) Although I thought it would be presumptuous to use the actual dialogue, it got me thinking about the difficulties that Ruby and Sapphire would encounter at the start of their fused relationship. Sharing the same mind was never going to be easy, but their love will pull them through :)

This goes out to @squaremomgsquad for making me feel so welcome in the fandom!

It’s set as a dialogue between Ruby and Sapphire with a bit of Garnet thrown in. The coda is pretty cryptic so if you get what it means then thank you ~

My opinion

Ok, so the lapidot vs amedot war seems to have calmed down a lot but its seems there's still some hate in both tags so I'm gonna put my opinion in.

I am a lapidot shipper. But I've been looking through both tags and seeing that we were as bad as eachother. I don't hate Amedot actually some of it is really sweet and I like some of it.

I occasionally see some people say some of the SU team have been talking about lapidot online and that if it happens its then 'bad writing' and this along with other things has made the fandom toxic.

The point of the show was to be about a boy who is able to overcome obstacles with his day to day life as a human and crystal gem while thinking he has to be like his mother and follow her legacy but finds his own footing and makes his own legacy in his own Steven-y way with the support of his guardians.

Not who gets with who and harass animators and story writers if it's not what SOME fans think it should be.

The point is they are the writers, not us we are to respect what they think and choose to do with the show and if we are truly there for the show and not for the ship's then we should be able to look past who gets with who and get back to the story and not the minor details like relationships.

Note: I'm not hating on either ship I like both.

From whats been happening recently, I can only assume that the Mayans we’re wrong.
