echoes from the halls of knowledge
we are the poets, the writers, the artists who will change the world
"The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in ourselves."
- William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar

"Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of
day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the
light."
- Dylan Thomas
"It is the spectator, and not life, that art really mirrors."
- Oscar Fingal O'Flahertie Wills Wilde, The Picture of Dorian Gray

"Solitude is independence."

Tears fall on my face
I am met by a strange gaze
The mirror is a slight haze
But I am set ablaze
In this strange place
That runs at a rapid pace
I meet a gaze
My own self in frays
I am trying to find ways
To clear the haze
And recognise this gaze
But a monster stays
With its strange ways
And a mocking face
Sheer terror weighs
In the greys
A crying face
A laughing face—
Who did I raise?
