She-Ra Abridged Thing - Let’s get serious!

So, I guess I’m gonna go ahead and do something a little more organised. I have written a script for a short trailer-style thing, and I’m working on a full episode, so I’d like to see who wants to/has the time to contribute to this and future instalments.

First of all, my standard disclaimer - I’m figuring this out as I go along. It might be slow, we might give up after one video, but I want to give it a good go. If you’re interested, there’s more information at the link below and a Google form. You’ll need to be signed in to a google account, but I don’t think I can see the name, photo or email address associated with it (unless you upload a file via the form, but there’s an option to avoid that)

There’s no rush, I’ll leave the form open for a couple of weeks to allow people to organise and record. Those of you who have helped me out with the test scenes don’t need to submit your voice unless you want to also audition for another character. As so many people are interested, it will likely be one character per VA (although if some characters don’t get much interest, I may double up).

As you all know it’s been my life goal to know when Toni’s feelings for Shelby began, and at the WildsCon panel today, Sarah Streicher and Tonya Kong SPOKE ON IT!!!! This is what they had to say:

Tonya Kong, writer of episode 4, says “I might be biased but I think it might be in four. I think there’s something there, in that scene where Shelby gave Toni a kick.”

While Sarah, went as far as to say:

“I think of the characters of having a life beyond my intention, so four, a place where something happened that was beyond what had been experienced before, I don’t always know their hearts, really, what happened on that plane when Shelby and Toni were together? First impressions are always so powerful and they last, so there had to be something after their first confrontation, some reflection of each other. They certainly loomed largely to each other from the get-go from their first meeting.”

SO happy to hear this!! Gives so much perspective!

As to when Fatin figured it out, Sarah Streicher says she “doesn’t doubt” Fatin figured it out during the Pill Scene of episode 6!
