i wish transing your gender was as easy as getting a haircut. like i wanna walk into a Gender Stylists shop and show the lady a picture of the gender i envy and be like, "that, can you do that?" and she'd be like "yeah" and then one hour later i'd have a new gender that's not quite what i asked for but close enough for me to not complain and just fix it at home. i want to search for gender references on pinterest and get reuploaded tiktoks of people being like "omg 360 your gender pls so i can show my gender stylist when i go on tuesday!! đ„ș" i want me and my bestie to be in the bathroom together at 1am extremely stoned and giving each other new genders that are objectively terrible but still kinda wearable

May 1st will mark the beginning of my 42nd trip around the sun. Now that I am 41, I would like to invoke birthday trivia on the boy I call my son, Fblthp.
Fblthp was a happy accident.
Here's the art description for Totally Lost from Gatecrash:
Color: Blue spell (unguilded) Location: Streets of Ravnica Action: A little Homonculus is lost amidst a sea of feet on a busy Ravnican street. Focus: The lost homunculus. Mood: Poor little guy.
His flavor text would give him a name (Homunculus don't have vowels in their name). The audience began memes with him almost immediately. Seeing his popularity, we've put him in other art, made cards for him, made plushies out of him, and just embraced the joy that is Fblthp.
Happy Birthday!
The hard truth about autism acceptance that a lot of people don't want to hear is that autism acceptance also inherently requires acceptance of people who are just weird.
And yes, I mean Those TM people. Middle schoolers who growl and bark and naruto run in the halls. Thirtysomethings who live with their parents. Furries. Fourteen-year-olds who identify as stargender and use neopronouns. Picky eaters. Adults in fandoms. People who talk weird. People who dress weird.
Because autistic people shouldn't have to disclose a medical diagnosis to you to avoid being mocked and ostracized for stuff that, at absolute worst, is annoying. Ruthlessly deriding people for this stuff then tacking on a "oh, but it's okay if they're autistic" does absolutely nothing to help autistic people! Especially when undiagnosed autistic people exist.
Like it or not, if you want to be an ally to autistic people, you're going to have to take the L and leave eccentric, weird people alone. Even if you don't know them to be autistic. You shouldn't be looking for Acceptable Reasons to be mean to people in the first place. Being respectful should be the default.
Telling young zoomers to "just switch to linux" is nuts some of these ipad kids have never even heard of a cmd.exe or BIOS you're throwing them to the wolves

"The Israeli military has acknowledged partially converting three different military facilities into detention camps for Palestinian detainees from Gaza since the Hamas-led October 7 attack on Israel"
I'm not entirely against Israel trying to "defeat" Hamas and can understand the attack from them as a cassus belli, but I am against the Israali government using it as an excuse for inhumane activity and attacking innocent civilians. Additionally, I'm not so convinced they're actually trying very hard to root them out, nor do I believe that is their only motive for everything they have continued to do. They deserve further scrutiny at best, and prosecution for criminal treatment of innocents at worst.
just a reminder that isr*al now has camps to keep innocents in.
