Don't waste tears and time on people that aren't willing to do the same.
Money is easy to get when you aren't afraid to ask for it.
A "no" won't kill you but, not having enough money might so you better ask for that large amount!
Don't let people know you're insecure.
Regrets won't make miraculously appear your goals.
Better start now than never.
"I'll do it tomorrow" tomorrow will turn into a day, a week, a month, a year, a decade, a life and a century eventually
Start now.
I am God playing with Barbies. hear me out
Barbies are just lifeless toys. They don't play out a story if the kid, or in this case me, God, isn't playing. the Barbies don't create the story, they don't come up with their world or setting or circumstances, they don't choose which clothes they're going to wear or which other doll they're going to date. I, the player, am the one who gives them a story, a world, choose which clothes and pets and house and partner they're going to have. and they don't have a past either. you're the one who picks whether they're gonna have the same story they did when you played with them the last time, or you can just "restart", give them new names and cars and a different backstory... you can pick EVERYTHING, because you're the one playing with them. they can't change their world, they're DOLLS. and if you got tired of playing with Barbie n1? choose another Barbie. you have a limitless collection of dolls, houses, animals, cars, clothes....
now, if you're the one playing with them, would you be worried about their problems? the ones you created? no! you can solve them or simply ignore them, you're the one who gave them "reality", you came up with them in your imagination and now you're worried?? please... and do you think you're the Barbie??? nope. you're the one playing. you might speak as them, pretend to have their thoughts, you're going to ACT like them, but in the end, they're still a doll and you're still the player. and look how wonderful: if you get tired of playing, you can just stop. you don't need Barbies to exist. you don't need to play forever. you can simply drop them. they're gonna stay there, do nothing, because they're lifeless without you. but you'll still exist, as your true Self.
and when it comes to the feelings. Barbies don't feel scared unless you decide they are. they're dolls. they can watch the most horrible scene ever, and they can be completely blank faced, unless you go and decide "ooh no! she's scared!". scared of what? she's a doll. nothing inside this world can hurt you or do anything to you because it's imaginary. it's fake. it's in Barbie world, the one you created. when a car accident happens(because you decided), does it hurt you or Barbie? and doesn't she has the capacity to walk away completely fine if you decide "nah she didn't get hurt"? aren't you choosing to be aware of that? but you got stuck in your own, created rules. you said "if Barbie gets into a car accident, she'll break her leg or get hurt in some way", but you forgot you decided it. and now you think you're Barbie, and Barbie can't change the rules because it's you who's playing with her, you can change the rules! I'm obviously not encouraging anyone to get into a car accident lol. but you see what I mean? you create the rules for your own game, get too caught up in it, and forget it's just a game, one that you can drop at any time, change the rules, change the characters, the settings, the items... it's all your choice, but unless you see yourself AS THE PLAYER, and not the character being played with, you won't change the game. you're outside of it, not in it. you exist without it. you create it.
Imagine being rejected from your dream college/school because you preferred daydreaming than building that dream life.
Your inspiration was born the same way you did, so why do you struggle so much ?
Stay lazy and leave it easy for your competition.
Or should I say people that are better than you ? Because in your case we can't talk about competition...
what others say and do is a projection of their own reality and their own dream. it’s not because of you, you are not the problem. focus on you and don’t take anything personally. you are amazing, keep being you ˙ᵕ˙ ♡
If you really wanted the job or the internship, you would have called again, sent another mail or message but you didn't.
Do you really think they believe you when you wrote on your motivation letter "I am highly motivated for this role" ?
No honey you aren't. If you really were you'd do anything to get it yet you still overthink about a simple call or sending another mail.
That's not how they got your dream job.
