Imagine a fantasy world, but all the towns are social medias.

The kingdom could be called "internet".

everyone would speak in a combination of modern, and old slang from whatever time period they like the most. Other than that, it's extremely high fantasy. You basically are your pfp now if you want to be. You could find some cool technology from an unknown future in the same room as a freshly made spear from ancient Mesopotamia.

You could also have a big city called "media" and have most works of fiction live there, and then have characters branch out into other towns. Like all the tumblr sexymen would live in tumblr town.

if someone close to you is disabled, you have to take that into account when you go places with them. you have to think about accessibility, fatigue, pain, flare ups, etc because its exhausting and hurtful when people who say they love you dont bother putting the effort in to make sure you ACTUALLY have a good time.

[update: i made this post in the spur of the moment after my family did something very inconsiderate & hurtful while we were on vacation, and I was very upset and angry at how abled people treat disabled people, hence the "abled people are required to reblog" thing. I was not expecting this amount of traction, and I've removed that now, because a lot of people dislike the guilt tripping. I did not mean it to be guilt-tripping, i was upset and angry.]

sometimes I envy the group chat fics I read about. Like, I want people who are chatting, and adding to the chat, and keeping in touch even if I'm not there to do so. I want people to call me a dork, or weird, or ask if I'm okay. I want people who don't care if I'm not always there because they know I don't have 24/7 access to the internet, and are happy when I can get online. I want to be able to joke, and poke fun at/with people, and just chat mindlessly. I want friends who are willing to put in as much effort to be friends as I do, even if I can't always be online. I don't want to be the only one in a group chat or dm chat who actually says anything in the chat before someone else does. And I'm really tired that the only friend who was able to do that was only not toxic, and a bully to me.
