my little sister is playing wind waker and I might just live-blog her considering I have to read what everything is saying for her anyways.
I have an idea for a genre of game.
idk what medium the games would be in, I guess whatever supports it, but anyways.
So you have a few different povs, and a few different characters that the pov isn't in. Kinda like those games where during the different chapters you play as different characters, but with a twist: You don't control the character, the character in the chapter has near full control over their own actions, you just talk to them and guide them. My thoughts on how this would work would be like; you see a room full of different objects, character goes to walk past one that catches your eye, you go "oh, wait, what was that? Go look, on the table there!" And the character (depending on their personality) will either go look for what you're trying to find, or will ignore you.
You playing the game would only have proper control during "possessions": Short periods of time in which one or more players can take over the character's body and steer them in the right direction or walk them through pain that would have otherwise debilitated them or even to do one of those quick time events in a combat situation. Of course possessing a character has consequences on mental and physical health and how they're viewed by others, but sometimes that's necessary.
Also, the characters you're able to guide/possess would be the only ones able to hear you, either that or the characters are only able to hear you when it's their turn to be guided.
It could also be done so that one person is in control of one character and other people are guiding that player, to add to the fun and maybe make it easier to make as a video game.
I have no idea if this concept already exists, but I think it would be cool!
YES YES YES YES
Crack au: tangled four swords with Shadow as Repunzel and Vaati is mother gothel.
Blue can be Flyn Rider and Vio can be Pascal and Green can be Maximus. Dunno who Red would be still thinking about it.
Rather than being sundrop powers, he can still have healing powers but is tied to the moon instead and can’t go out in light at all which is why he never left before. Still has the 50 foot hair btw. Cause I’m a sucker for long hair Shadow and find it funny to watch him suffer with it.
Just wrighting about the original work I mentioned here:

The five rooms is a dream I had, where badically the main character (Leslie McKane) has to go through this mess of a place that has no bame or location.
Each of the rooms is preceded (is that the right word?) by a side room that has hints to what lays ahead. All except for room 1.
Room one is a blank version of the bedroom you were staying in before you were brought to the five rooms. Other than whatever shelves, bedding, and closets/cupboards it’s conpletely empty.
Room two is that of transformation. It’ll make you look as how you perceive yourself. (Trans people would be changed to look like their actual gender, thin people who still think they’re fat would gain weight, people who think they’re stronger than they actually are would become so, and so on and so forth) It’s a stupidly painful process.
The third room has giant stone toads that are blind, and eat people and hunt you tgrough sound. Trust me, you don’t wanna know what would happen if they caught you.
The fourth room is a maze with a spooky floating grimdark knife hand lady who chases you and tries to cut you to ribbons.
The final room is a pool you start out at the bottom of. With the souls of those who didn’t make it out appearing as plants that wanna be like the knife lady from room four.
If you make past all that then congrats! Your stuck floating in the ocean until someone passes by and saves you! Yay!
This was the most simple, and friendly explination I could give.
Like most of these places I come up with, it’s a place of horrors and unaliving. So yeah.
decided to do both of my fixations lol (yes I count fsp and lu as two different fixations I dunno/dont care if that's weird)
“fanon is so much better then canon” bestie, you literally took a complex character with personality flaws and turned him into a living stereotype.
So, um, I’m contemplating writing a crossover fanfic between Trials Of Apollo, and a story I dreampt up called The Five Rooms.
Basically Lester, 10 years after the events of TOA, get’s trapped in a house with Leslie who literally just escaped his own mess of problems (I’ll make a different post explaining if I haven’t already). The house has no obvious ways out, and is surounded by densely wooded forest, and a large thick wall. They’re attacked by monsters nightly, and basically have to figure out a way to survive while also trying to find a way out.
you’re stuck living with your icon for a month have fun
best edition lol
what if there was an au where Shadow is revived as a cat, but he has no idea by who or why he’s a cat all of a sudden. While trying to figure it out he ends up getting found by Red who’s like “aw cute homeless babyyyyy… mine now!” And adopts him, which is of course like “no, wait. fuck. nO. WHY” and he keeps trying to get away from them cause they’re gonna be furious when they figure out there cat is their old enemy and knowing his luck it’s only a matter of time. but Red’s very purrsistent and finally manages to drag him home and is like “HEY GUYS I GOT US A CAT!!” and the only one okay with this immediately is Vio, and Blue takes one look at him and is like “Shadow.” And of course Shadow panics a little because “Fuck I’ve been found out already!” But Red’s like “huh?” And Blue says “a black cat with red eyes and the look of a war criminal? Yeah, I’m naming him Shadow there is no other possible name for him.” And shadows like “rude” but then Vio chimes in with “yeah we can name him Shadow Meowthazar the floof wizard or something” and Red is like “YES” and Shadow already hates his new life.
and you know for a fact that people tell there cats shit they wouldn’t tell anyone else because why go to therapy when you have a cat right there. And Shadow’s mission goes quickly from “find out who brought me back” to “give these people as much aggressive cat therapy as possible ma gawd.”
Green teaches him tricks and stuff to prank the others and Shadow is 1000% down for this because now he has an excuse for knowing how to open doors and read and also gets the added bonus of fucking with everyone, his favourite person to fuck with is surprisingly Vio which is only partially Green’s fault with his subliminal messaging because Vio has all the best responses whereas Red chalks it up to magic floof wizard powers and Blue just gets really excited like “finally someone to do my paperwork” or “oh you helping out Vio” nod “okay good help him get his ass out of his room to participate in society next” salute “thanks bud *gives him a treat and a pat*”
What if someone breaks in one night while everyone’s sleeping (like a monster or something) and they wake up to the sounds of a their cat possibly dying and the intruder in pain and they rush downstairs to save their cat but he’s just sitting on top of his felled opponent seemingly unscathed (because shadow powers and quicker healing) and they’re like “shit I am so glad this cat like us” and Red is like “I hereby knight thee Shadow Meowthazar floof wizard the slayer of intruders lord of Vio’s dark armies” and everyone is like “yes” and except Vio who is like “lord of my what?” Shadow regrets everything in life.
