Because pet play is a sub dynamic in BDSM, we discourage you from bringing that type of behavior into a public area. The reason being, the people in public cannot consent to being brought into your dynamic.

To be frank, it’s really rude to bring non consenting people into your kink, which is exactly what you would be doing if you were to participate in pet play in public. It may seem innocent compared to a lot of dynamics and activities within the BDSM world, but it’s still a kink, and it’s still violating the consent of others. If everyone isn’t consenting, you’re doing it wrong.

There are stealthy ways to keep up your dynamic in public without upsetting the public (day collar, subtle hand gestures, etc) and I suggest you look into them.
