A Girl, a bird, of feather, in fire

A boy at death, gives life, new mem’ry

The girl is allured by stories on lyre

The boy is a myth, a saltless sea

The lyre’s promise for life not tired,

Was dangerous, not sweet nor free

The boy, his sea, was free to drown in,

Safe, surrounded by water, his sin

The lyre’s life was near a pyre,

But wings fly on song above the flame

The ocean’s path was differently dire,

It’s water feeds roots of falsehood in pain,

And birds are fed up with the petals of liars

good news! im resuming work on faithtale (after what like 9 months or smt?), so a new scene should be out either this week or the next!! once that scene comes out faithtale will officially be off hiatus and you can expect consistent uploads once a month!
