The moment you realized everything you do is worthless. That your friends already did it, so if you do it, it's just a copy, stealing an idea.
The moment you realize you really have no talent, no amazing thing about yourself that you can show everyone, while your friends all always say how amazing the other friend is.
The moment you realize you'll never achieve your goals because you need to be good at something you're not, because you lack an ability, because the more you try to learn, the more you get tired of even trying.
So... first of all, thanks to all the people who have supported my story, it means a lot to me.
Now, the ones that have already read my story in Spanish may have noticed a few changes in the plot. These changes are not meant to change the whole plot, its purpose is to complete it, giving a little bit more information.
Lastly, I am Mexican (not by birth, but I have lived here almost all my life), and I use a lot of jokes and common phrases in Spanish. The most obvious example of this may be that joke in chapter 6:
If Batman gets hurt, would he become Bruised Wayne?
Which originally was:
Si Batman se pone bata, ¿se convertiria en Bataman?
If you translate this, it makes no sense. And this may happen a lot in future episodes.
Apart from that, I may start posting extra incorrect quotes, so you can see another side of my characters and their relationship with the bat fam.
Thanks again for reading, and see you in next episode.

Me, 5 years ago new to dc comics: Isn’t Robin dead or something?
My veteran dc fan friend:
Reminder that as part of the fandom you are free to think whatever you want about a character.
Headcanons are a thing but we also need to remember which things belong to Canon and which to fanon.
Comic writers frequently mess up with things and the fact that between the fandom we can put a little more diversity is enjoyable.
Headcanons are a thing, and we are free to think whatever we wanna think (except if it harms someone)
Tim and Jason stans excusing Jason's canonical brutal violence against Tim as "pitmadness" (this is NOT a thing in canon, guys) and forgetting Jason nearly killed 10 year old Damian too or often celebrating that reminds me Dick and Damian are also canonically PoC and whatever fanon may "colour code" them, Tim and Jason are very much White dudes.
Chapter 23: Confidence Movements
Actuality
"Are you out of your mind?" Assana shouted as soon as we were safe with the rest of the team, "What were you thinking? Do you know how worried we were about you?" She continued, standing in front of me with a frown on her face.
"I'm sorry," I muttered, still being held by my brother.
"It's either I or all our big problems are coming out at the same time," said Oswald, sitting on the edge of the roof of that 14+ story building.
"We must be alert, it is likely that all of them are allied," said my brother, turning to look at everyone, "We must warn everyone about these issues," he said, turning to look at me, at times I did not pay attention to what they were saying, as I was watching my shadow, looking for weaknesses and strengths.
"I will end the patrol, go home," I said, separating from my brother to start running to another building, a little away from the other patrol locations, so I could send a message.
But when I arrived, I met Robin and Red Robin.
"... We should report to Eclipse," said Robin, as he put his phone in one of the pockets of his suit.
"Report to me what? I asked, approaching what in theory would be my uncles, but due to the small age difference, I never referred to them that way.
"When did you arrive?" Damian asked me, turning quickly and walking over to where I was, "And what happened to you?" I could tell by the tone of that question that I still hadn't recovered from everything that had happened just a few minutes ago.
"You didn't answer my question," I said, the shadow coming out of my hands, like a threatening signal. Damian and Tim knew what I was capable of when I wanted something.
"Eclipse, calm down. It's nothing important" Timonthy tried to grab my hands, in an attempt to get me to stop threatening the youngest Wayne son. The shadow was quicker and grabbed him by the wrists. Something in me changed or he watched me closely, as his gaze changed and he tried to let go, "We found Slade Wilson," he said quickly. If they already knew, then we had to move faster before they interfered.
I let go of Tim, causing him to almost fall to the ground. Our plan had to be executed that same week if we were to catch him once and for all. I was even weighing the option of going alone.
I didn't wait any longer. I had to get home to ask my father to sign a permission slip for me to miss a few days of school.
On the way, I informed Jim and my brother about Red Robin and Robin and asked them both to find their last locations. We had to act fast before he moved out of town and disappeared completely.
When I got home, I noticed that the lights were still off, which meant that my father probably still hadn't arrived. Or at least that's what I wanted to believe because when I walked into the living room, the first thing I saw was 4 cans of beer, 2 empty brandy bottles, and a half-drunk bottle of tequila, blood, and Red Hood's guns lying on the floor.
"I had left... Batman in the kitchen... Hahaha... And when I came back... Poof... He was gone..." Jason was drunk, probably seriously injured, and saying nonsense.
Although the phrase itself gave a laugh, and probably would have been true, in a very strange context, it didn't help me much to know if he was okay, I let out a small laugh as I tried to imagine the situation. I walked into the dining room and saw him, sitting in my brother's chair, which was the closest to the door, and with his head leaning on the table.
"Now what happened to you?" I asked him, trying to sound more angry than worried. Something of ours.
"I got depressed..." He said, still without turning to look at me, "There will come a day when... You leave... And I don't want to..." From the way he spoke, I could tell he was about to cry. I began to pick up everything, avoiding touching the guns for fear that they were without the safety catch, I would ask my brother to put them away.
"I don't know what nonsense you're talking about, and clearly, you'll be the first to leave me. But I need to check that you are not hurt," I said. I didn't want to take desperate measures like talking to his favorite brother.
"No, you're going to break my heart." When Jason Todd drinks too much, he says a lot of stupid things. "I want to die."
"I give up," I said, before turning to the living room and sending an urgent message to Timonthy, though it would probably only make him worry since we had barely seen each other. Was I glad he was coming? No. Did I need his help so I wouldn't be tempted to hit my father to talk some sense into him? Yes.
My brother would be the wiser option in these situations, but he was more likely to join him, getting drunk and falling unconscious.
"Jane, play some depressing music," my father ordered me, still leaning on the table, another bottle in hand, "If you don't.... I'll start singing... Here I go..." He said, just waiting for Timonthy to arrive soon.
The minutes passed and Jason kept singing a repertoire of Mexican lady songs, or so I would like to think. I had never seen him like that, which in a way was funny, I was thinking about taking out my phone and recording him when he started the fourth song. Timonthy arrived almost 15 minutes later, entering through the living room window because apparently none of us know the doors.
"I'm sorry I'm so late, I was talking to Damian about something about Batman being in the kitchen and I don't know what other nonsense," he said, trying to approach me. I quickly pointed him to the dining room, where my father was trying to remember the words to a song.
"En mi mano izquierda tomé tu retrato, y en la otra mano una copa de vino, y brindé contigo sin estar presente, y brindé contigo por tu amor ausente" He began to sing, moving from side to side the bottle in his hand.
"Believe it or not, Jason also mentioned something about Batman in a kitchen," I said, handing him a glass of water, it was a tradition between us, something common but special for us, which on recent occasions I had forgotten to do.
"It's just that I... I had left Batman in the kitchen... And when I came back... Poof... He was gone" Jason interrupted his song, only for us to notice that he was getting worse and worse. When he finished talking, Tim turned to look at me and I just shrugged.
"Okay, this is weird. I'll take him to his room, give him a sleeping pill. In the meantime, try to pick up everything you can, and if you want you can make me a coffee." When he finished talking, he got up to go carry his brother, not before winking at me.
With a small vacuum cleaner, I removed the glass that was still on the floor. I arranged the dining room chairs and heated water for coffee. The guns were still on the floor.
"Luckily for me, Jason didn't have the guns on his belt. Your bad luck, they're here," Tim said, pointing to the floor when he came into the living room a few minutes later.
"Here I go," I said, forgetting my fear for a moment and taking them as if they were a toy. I checked how many bullets he had left and without Tim noticing I put the safety on." It's been a long time since I practiced my aim." I turned to him, raising the gun.
"You're insane," he said, laughing at the end.
"I've heard that so many times," I began to say, turning on the lights so I could see a little better.
The sound of the front door opening interrupted my little joke.
"I'm home, family."

Chapter 25: Truths & Problems
50 minutes passed in total peace. Or as close to peace as possible. Olive handed me back my thermos, asking me where I had been, I replied with a sign to tell her later. Sure she would scold me but what was done was done. It's not like I had a friend with a magical time travel device, no sir.
The teacher was obnoxious, if it wasn't for the fact that my grandfather had great respect for that lady, she would be dead by now. My brother, who also had classes with her, said that she would be more demanding with me in the coming years, and who told my brother that I was going to continue studying in that horrible school?
The only thing that made me happy in those moments was to have the lovely thermos full of coffee, or half full, the point is that I had coffee and that was the good thing. Before the last change of
"Miss Jane Pasley Wayne, report to the principal's office," was heard throughout the halls of the school.
"What did you do now?" she asked quietly, rather angrily.
"Let's say I broke someone's nose," I replied simply, before getting up and heading down the hallway, which was completely quiet, except for the teachers leaving or the shouts of students asking for extra points. The secretary, who was clearly not there because she wanted to be, told me to enter with a simple nod of her head.
The principal's office was a huge room, with a neat wooden desk, a huge bookcase behind the chair, it was very well lit. In front of his desk were two smaller chairs, and in one of them was Angella, with a cloth in her hand, trying to stop the blood from coming out of her nose. I couldn't help but smile when I saw her angry face.
"She did it, professor. She broke my nose," the girl began to scream, as I approached the second chair.
"First of all, good afternoon," I said to the principal as formally as I could, sitting down as Bruce had taught me, raising the Wayne mask that Grandpa had taught us to wear in public and with influential people.
"Good afternoon, Miss Wayne. I'm sorry about this whole situation," he said, as kindly as he could, and then looked at my companion." Unfortunately, Miss Wilson, there is nothing to incriminate her. The camera in that hallway was turned off, probably a technical situation, or some student broke it by accident. But without proof, we can't report it," The principal was young, a few years younger than Bruce, we always addressed him as a teacher. He was the reason I wanted my father to stay off the phones.
Jason was not considered my tutor by the school, as he was hardly ever home and it was usually Bruce who answered for me, but there were times when, for some reason, my father would be called and he would answer.
"But it was her, she whipped me against the sink and the toilet bowl." Until that moment I hadn't noticed the energy Angella was emanating.
"Professor, you know that my relationship with my classmate is not on good terms, in fact, we have rarely spoken even though we share classes," I began to speak when I noticed that Angella was about to start shouting, "But why would I feel the need to hit her, knowing that I would get into trouble with you and my grandfather?
"You always get into trouble," my companion replied, her anger showing several meters away. From one moment to the next, she grabbed my wrist with an enormous force: "Confess," she looked me in the eyes. My mind went blank for a few moments.
"I hit her in the girls' bathroom in the hallway from the third-grade classrooms to the cafeteria. I spoke without even thinking about it, it was as if my shadow, a dense and completely black cloud, had covered my mind and when I became aware of what I had done, I got out of his grip as fast as I could.
"Miss Wayne, I will have to call your grandfather or your father so that we can solve this situation," said the headmaster, standing up to go to my file, where my tutor's number was.
"My grandfather is very busy today, last I heard he had some very important meetings, I don't think I want to bother him with this," I told him, trying to convince him to call my father, who would have to stay away from his cell phone if Roy loved me as much as he said he did.
Angella was still standing next to me, pretending to cry and trying to stop the blood from running from her nose. The principal grimaced and then told me he would call my father.
"Mr. Todd?" the principal asked as soon as the call was answered, "I need your presence at Gotham Academy, your daughter is in trouble again." Yes, again.
In previous years I would have been depressed, thinking that with so much trouble I was causing the Wayne's would come to the point where they would abandon me on the street again, but now, after all, I had lived through, I felt I could survive without them, I didn't care so much anymore.
Half an hour passed, Angella was still crying in her chair, still with the tissue in her hand, the director was trying to comfort her and I was just amusing myself by tying knots with a rubber band I was wearing on my wrist. At one point in that horrible boredom, the office door was slammed, revealing a red-haired man with green ink tattoos.
"Sorry, I'm late, there's a protest a few streets down. And there's a villain causing havoc near Wayne Enterprises. You know the traffic that goes on in these situations." Roy Harper, you saved me, you deserve the title of my favorite uncle.
"I understand the situation, just as I understand that Mr. Todd has sent you instead, don't I?" At last, something was going my way, and the stupid principal had to ruin it.
"Yes and no. Actually, Jaybird sent me for the brat and Olive Wayne. I got..." Roy started digging through his pants pockets. If my father took me out of school it was because he really needed my help against that villain Roy mentioned," Ah, here it is. I have a copy of Jay's ID, a signed message from him, a prescription for Olive that Dick gave me, according to him it says paracetamol, unfortunately, I never learned Ancient Greek; a message from Bruce Wayne and... An audio where they scold me for not hurrying."
"There is no need to play the audio. The copy of the ID and the message will be more than enough." It would be assumed that being a prestigious school, in a city with a high crime rate, there should be more secure when letting a student go with a stranger. "But let me tell you that there will be sanctions against Jane, this will not stay that way.
"I understand perfectly well Principal, although you still haven't told me what happened, as I told you, we are in a hurry." Jane, you will be without a phone for a week, now go get your things and let your cousin know, we are getting the hell out of this prison.
As soon as he said that I got up from my seat, gave a little nod to the headmaster, and went to my classroom. I checked my wristwatch to see roughly what class Oli might be in. If the class was outside the classroom, I wouldn't have time to go find her and let her know. It was better if I texted her later. If the class was in the classroom, I would have to submit to an interrogation by the teacher on duty.
Before I got to my classroom I bumped into Jared, and before he asked I yelled out that I would see him in the afternoon. The room was completely empty, I didn't stop to think and advanced to my seat so I could put my things away, grabbed the thermos Tim gave me, and ran back to the principal's office, ignoring the signs that said: "No running in the halls".
I would let Oli know on the way. The important thing now was to know the reason for my departure. Before arriving with the principal, Roy intercepted me, saying that he had already "settled" things with the gentleman. He also said that we should leave quickly, as my father was waiting for us.
