I actually read a few of their fics last night! I love the portrayal of kataang that they have, and I especially love any kataang being parents content. I also thought it was funny that they took the whole zvtara trope of Katara having to escape Aang (🤢) and then flipped it on its head bc yknow what? We as a ship fandom deserve it after all we deal with lmao.

I have yet to read the Teenage!Aang fic that’s multi chapter and I haven’t read their one shot titled I’m No Longer A Kid, but I will when I get the time! Maybe tonight 💛

There’s truly so many amazing kataang fics to be found on ao3 and fanfiction.net (that’s the site I wrote my first ever fanfics on and yes they WERE kataang fics). We have some truly amazing artists and writers for this pairing <3

If you’d like recs of my own for kataang, I read a couple last night in addition to the author’s you mentioned. Exchange of Wrath by ArmageddonGeneration was incredible (3 chapters) and a one shot From the Moon to the Ocean by the same author. I also recommend literally any kataang content from chocomd on ao3 and they have some zukaang fics too if you ship that. Highly rec Without Water, Midnight Meditations, and Drag You Down, all are kataang fics!

Hopefully I’ll have the time eventually to write a kataang fic myself! I haven’t gotten around to writing anything for them on my ao3 account, but one day I will 🫶🏻 only gotten to post my twilight fics on there and have tons of WIPs and working on original novel too so just gotta find the time to devote to kataang

katara’s wish is for the avatar to return, to end the war and bring peace.

her wish is granted quite literally—the boy in the sky is the avatar, and he’s there to assist her in her story of saving the world, including her world/home, the southern water tribe.

His crisp leather bag was haphazardly hanging off of the perfectly polished spruce wood chair that sat opposite to Adam’s similarly pristine desk, one that had now been covered in a stack of books and papers that had been angrily tossed by Jack only seconds before he began his most recent tirade.

“The issue here is not a lack of understanding on my part,” Adam cut in smoothly, his evidently increasing irritation clearly warring with his typically neutral expression. “The issue here is instead why, exactly, you booked a slot in my office hours just to complain about a colleague that you were on casual-dancing terms with at the Halloween party a mere month ago.” Jack, to Adam’s dismay, did not seem to possess the self-awareness to emit even a modicum of embarrassment for his utter disregard for Adam’s time. “How did you even find my Google Calendar to schedule this?”

Jack waved his hand in the air as if attempting to swat away Adam’s concerns like virgin lab flies. “The issue is absolutely a lack of understanding. The only reason you aren’t offering to join me at her door with a pitchfork is because you don’t understand how frustrating she-”

“And you are picturing yourself at her door…because…?” Adam trailed off, leaning back in his chair as he raised his dark eyebrows a fraction of an inch.

Jack leveled an equivalent glare right back. “I thought you were supposed to be the silent type.”

Adam shrugged. “I contain multitudes.”

notes: i've been working on writing more dialogue and this is from my draft of the next quantum entanglement chapter and i really liked how it's turning out so far!!!🤭 stem romance is the genre that i'd love to one day write a proper book in, since it's pretty much a perfect intersection of all of my interests, so writng this fic has been such a dream. i would really love to do a continuation with adam & olive but for now i'm letting jack and elsie stay in the spotlight 🤭🫶
