Imagine the reader has two carved wooden animals (a bear and crow for example) they made themselves and when asked about it the reader reveals that the animals were based on them and they're romantic partner who died way before they went to the factory so made those as a way of the two being together in a way I imagine Doey just crying finding it both sad and sweet at the same time

Y/N: “ My leg isn’t the only thing I lost in the crash.”

The toys looked at you as you took a photo off the wall. You sat back down on the couch and showed them a picture with you and your partner.

Y/N: “When I was still working at the factory, I had a boyfriend/girlfriend that worked with me. We met in the factory and we got to know each other. We started dating after a few months. He/she made me wood of these bears. We were together for 5 years until the car accident. He/she died in the car on the drive to work. After my surgery and his/her death, I quit my job at the factory and started working for home.”

All the toys were silent. Doey and the little critters broke the silence as they began crying. Yarnaby whimpered as his listened to you explain your loss of your boyfriend/girlfriend.

Y/N: “Hey, Hey! It’s okay.”

Doey: “I know, I just feel so bad.”

Poppy: “I’m really sorry for your loss, Mom/Dad.”

Big Dogday: “Are you okay now!?”

Kissy flopped her hand on your head as a way to comfort you.

The mini critters gathered around you, hugging you and getting their tears on your pants.

Y/N: “It’s okay now, I’m okay.

You picked up the critters, rocking them in your arms to stop their crying. You told they you’re okay. You missed your partner, but you knew he/she was watching over you and they miss you a lot.

Poppy Playtime x Gender Neutral Reader “Finally Free” Part 3!

Welcome back to another story. These stories are getting so popular and I love that people are reading. Thank you for your support and please request some ideas for me to write about. Now let’s get into the story.

☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️As you all finished Breakfast, you thought the toys could play outside and enjoy some sunshine and fresh air. You bought some toys that you think the toys will enjoy.

Y/N: “Hey guys. While I was out, I bought some toys and games for you all.”

You played the bags on the kitchen table and showed them you bought more food, snacks, cats toys and catnip for Yarnaby, chalk, sport balls, hula hoops, books, board games, puzzles, coloring and story books, an inflatable pool, a trampoline, jump-ropes, a whiteboard and dry erase markers for Kissy, and a big rainbow parachute.

You gave the whiteboard and markers to Kissy so she can write or draw as a way for her to communicate.

Y/N: “How do you feel, Kissy?”

Kissy: “I feel happy, Thank you, Y/N. <3”

You smiled at her message. You turned to the other toys to see them taking out the other games.

Doey: “OH MY GOD! WHERE DID YOU FIND THIS BOOK?”

Doey pulled out a book called “The Adventures of the Word Wizard.” The little critters gathered around Doey to see the book in his hands.

Y/n: “I found it in a book store. I thought you all would like it.”

Doey: “Like it!? I love it!? Thank you so much, you don’t know how much this means to me!”

Y/n: “No problem, I can read it later. Do you guys want to go outside and play with some of these toys.”

The toys screamed yes. Knowing they were in the factory for so long, some fresh air would be nice for them. You took some activities, a table, and snacks, and went to the backyard.

You set up some games like the hula-hoops, jump-ropes, the trampoline, sport balls, and the rainbow parachute out for the toys. You placed snacks and drinks on the table.

The mini critters and Doey ran to the activities, running and playing with each other. You, Poppy, Kissy, and Yarnaby were sitting in the grass near some flowers.

Kissy and Poppy were make flower crowns and Yarnaby laid his head on your lap, purring as you patted head.

You looked over to the other toys. The mini critters playing with Doey, playing soccer, jumping on the trampoline, playing with the hula-hoops or jump-ropes.

You smiled seeing them happy, not worrying about food, being hunted by the doctor or the Prodotype.

Poppy: “Hey, angel! Here!”

Poppy headed you a flower crown made with Daisies and Lilies.

Y/n: “Thank you, Poppy!”

Kissy placed a flower crown on Yarnaby’s head.

Poppy: “I still can’t thank you enough for everything. Saving us, letting us into your home, and stopping the Prototype.”

Y/n: “You don’t need to thank me. You guys deserve this, away from the factory, from the employees, and from the abuse.”

Poppy and Kissy’s eyes filled with tears.

Poppy: “Thank you, Angel.”

Kissy grabbed you into a hug and Poppy and Yarnaby joined.

Y/n: “Aww, you guys.”

The hugs lasted a few minutes, until an idea popped in your head. You broke from the hug and ran to the Rainbow parachute.

Y/n: “Hey guys, come over here!”

The toys came over to where you were standing.

Y/n: “Okay, everyone grab part of the parachute.”

Everyone but Yarnaby and Poppy, grabbed the parachute.

Y/n: “Okay, now lift it up and down. Yarnaby, Poppy, you two sit under the parachute.”

You all lift the parachute up and down.

Doey: “This is fun!”

Bobby Bearhug: “The parachute is so beautiful!”

Yarnaby was running under the parachute with Poppy.

Poppy: “These colors are so pretty!”

Y/n: “Okay, now when I say go, run under the parachute.”

You all lifted the parachute up.

Y/n: “Okay, Now!”

You all ran under the parachute and sat down to see the colors of the rainbow.

Craftycorn: “Wow!”

Hoppy Hopscotch: “It’s looks just like ours drawings.”

Dogday: “Look at all the colors!”

Y/n: “Isn’t just beautiful?”

You and Poppy were upstairs, in your bedroom. You were painting her nails, doing her makeup, and brushing her hair. You played some music and the two of you started singing to ‘Headlock’ by Imogen Heap.

Y/n: “You’ve been walking.”

Poppy: “You’ve been hiding.”

Y/n: “And you look half dead half the time.”

Poppy: “Monitoring you, like machines do.”

Y/n: “You’ve still got it, I’m just keeping an eye.”

Poppy: “You’ve been walking.”

Y/n: “You’ve been hiding.”

As you two continued talking, a little critter, CraftyCorn, overheard to you and Poppy singing,

The little toy ran down to the others.

Craftycorn: “Hey guys!”

Everyone’s attention faced Craftycorn.

Craftycorn: “We should sing karaoke!”

Doey: “That could be fun!”

Bobby Bearhug: “I’m a great singer!”

Dogday: “We should ask Mom/Dad!”

The toys came upstairs and asked you if they can sing karaoke and you agreed. You had a karaoke set you haven’t used in a few years. Luckily it still works and you got it set up.

Y/n: “So, what do you guys want to sing?”

The toys thought to themselves, until a little critter, Catnap, spoke up.

Catnap: “How about ‘Eclipse of the Heart?’ I remember we would sing that song at the factory.”

Y/n: “That’s sweet. We can sing that song.”

You turn on the microphone and played the song. Catnap started singing first. Some other mini critters, Kissy, and Yarnaby sat on the couch and watched. Kissy and Yarnaby couldn’t sing anyway.

Catnap: “Turn around, Every now and then I get a little bit lonely and you’re never coming ‘round”

Dogday: “Turn around, Every now and then I get a little bit tired of listening to the sound of my tears’’

Picky Piggy: “Turn around, Every now and then I get a little bit nervous that the best of all the years have gone by”

Poppy: “Turn around, Every now and then I get a little bit terrified and then I see the look in your eyes”

Bobby Bearhug: “Turn around, Bright eyes, Every now and then I fall apart”

Doey: “Turn around, Bright eyes, Every now and then I fall apart”

Y/n: “And I need to know tonight and I need you more than ever. And if you only hold me tight we’ll be holding on forever. And we’ll only be making it right ‘cause we’ll never be wrong together.”

You handed the mic to Doey, but he didn’t take it. He stared at you, while the music continued playing. When you looked around the room, everyone was staring.

Y/n: “Umm… What’s everyone staring at?”

Poppy: “You, angel. I didn’t know you could sing that well.”

Doey: “You really sing like an angel!”

Kissy wrote a 10 on her write board, rating your singing.

Y/n: “Aww, Thanks. I used you sing a lot in school plays and I sung that song for a school play.”

But before you all could continue singing, Yarnaby screamed.

Yarnaby: “RAWRRR!”

Y/n: “Yarnaby, are you trying to sing too?“

Yarnaby: “RAWRRR!”

Y/n: “AHAHA! Come on, you can sing with me!”

You all continued singing songs and dancing. You felt nostalgic singing karaoke again. Back in the plays or with family and friends. You enjoyed the moment with your new family.
