Launching #FanartFortheCure – Pink Series on teepublic (Apologies in advance for the long post!)

So! As you may already know if you’ve been following me for a while, I now have a teepublic page (Creative Procrastination) where you can find most of my JC, Voyager and Prodigy fanart to get it printed on shirts, magnets, stickers, and more. I decided shortly after I set it up that my share of the earnings would go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, as I do fanart because I love it. This is my way of paying all the love and support from you all forward.

With this in mind I’m super excited to announce that I’ve just added brand-new pink ribbon-themed Star Trek/Voyager-inspired designs for you all! 🖖 Some of the designs are directly related to the cause with pink ribbons 🎗️🩷, while others are more subtle and related in a way only you would know (the color pink and where you got it from!). Here's a sample:

I particularly like the Deltas, I hope you like them too! I'm happy to customize them too, if you wish, for example making them pocket size, etc. Just ask 😁

As I post this I am literally 1$ short of 100$ in earnings (which actually blows my mind, THANK YOU!!) and I would love to reach that goal in time for my end-of-the-year donation later this month! All I want for Christmas this year! Spread the word! (In reality there’s no pressure though, there is no deadline to this fundraising – donating my earnings to the cause is a long-term commitment for me. You can also follow me on Teepublic to get updated on new designs.)

Admittedly, this was not quite what Chakotay had expected when Janeway requested his presence in the holodeck to ‘help her with something…’

Later, Chakotay wondered whether maybe the holographic pheromones actually worked, while Janeway was grateful that he hadn’t asked why she’d called him here instead of simply ending the program.

OMG this one was so much fun (challenging, but super fun)!! I couldn't resist doing an extra one! 😁 I wouldn't be surprised if I returned to the Captain Proton program in the future... *cue Chaotica's maniacal laughter* Also, I love me some heroic Chakotay action! 😉

It occurred to me that I never posted the initial B&W version(s) (one with Chakotay serious, one with him smiling), which have a completely different vibe 🖤 Hope you like them!

(Sidenote: if you're wondering why he's in civvies and she's in her dress uniform, it's because the sketch was originally inspired by a scene from my fic Louder Than Words 😉😋 One of my favorite first-kiss scenes to have ever come out of my head LOL 🥰)

A quick note - obviously I took some artistic license with the animals here, including making Janeway's salamander cuter than the one they showed (oh, was this foreshadowing future events...? 🤔😬)! As for Chakotay's, we never did find out his, did we (we know it's not a bear 😉)? We saw a hawk/eagle in Tattoo, but I always thought it symbolized Chakotay's father or something more to that effect. So I decided to go with a marten for him for no other reason that they're cute, fierce and somehow seemed fitting (also it worked for this sketch 😉). I hope you'll forgive those small liberties!

(This scene also deserves a more serious note so I'll put it in the comments.)
