We got a heavy smoker here!
His name is Eddie, he's my latest OC-turned-doll and I love him a lot!
I realised midway through making him that he kinda looked like a fusion between Billy Hargrove and Eddie Munson from Stranger Things (not why I gave him that name tho, Eddie is just my favorite name).
details below:
I modelled his face+painted it, and put it on a Severus snape doll body (that body was way too buff for Snape what the hell), and added monster high hands because the og ones were so VEINY it was really weird looking.
Clothes and accessories were all handmade exepted for the shoes, tattoos on forearms are halloween nails stickers (they make awesome tattoos for doll!).

seeing people say shit like “i wish i as born gay” or “i wish i was born a different gender” makes me s o sad bc ill bet you dimes to dollars that person is on the lgbt spectrum but because of ingrained phobias and the way media portrays people like us, it feels like an insurmountable implausibility, when its really not. if you wish you were gay, or trans, or whatever, then like, maybe you should give the introspection a chance. compulsive heteronormativity is real and it can truly make you believe youre cis and straight and that you never need to think more into it than that.
fat bodies, fat anatomy, and how body fat tends to work should be taught as standardly as skinny anatomy and how muscles work in art courses. fat bodies are not an outlier. fat bodies are not a minority and theyre not abnormal or wrong. fat bodies are normal and they belong in art teaching spaces as commonly as other anatomy, because fat bodies ARE normal anatomy. people have diverse bodies and there will never be a single body type that encompasses the "normal body type"
tldr; fat anatomy should be taught as a staple in art courses just like any other anatomy. this is fact <3
I made a teensy tiny Longfurb for my bjd Jonah.
It’s a bit messy around the face. I think i’m gonna keep trying to refine this idea. I was considering teeny tiny printed face plates maybe instead? But i’m not sure how small one of those 3d printed buddy faces can go. I’ll have to ask my dad to test it “how small can you print one of these?” lol. Because just attaching that to a small plush noodle would be WAY easier.
Can't unsee those gummy worm horns. Truely, they make this doll. n_n
Locien & Berry ♥
I havent seen anyone talk about this yet so im making a post.
So lets say you’re researching something for a paper (or just for fun) and the research paper you want to read is behind a paywall, or the site makes you create an account first, or makes you pay to download, or limits you to only 5 free articles, or otherwise makes it difficult for you to read what you want.
do not fear! copy the link to the article
go to sci-hub.se (the url is always changing so its best to check out whereisscihub.now.sh to find what the current url is)
slap the article link in there
My first furby that I thrifted with his box. Finding him kinda distracted me from all other doll projects for the past week lol.
His name is Bi-lighting or Bilite for short. Might make him a little vest. If I find any more furbs I will get wilder with the customs but I wanted one "normal" one.
