I gave Teeth King a shirt made from one of my old shirts and now he is just basically dressed just like me
hey psa to my fellow fat ppl: a few tips + tutorials for upsizing clothing that’s too small, that way if you’ve grown out of certain stuff and can’t afford new things, you can make it fit you– this has helped me a lot in the past
my tips:
cutting off just the neckline of a shirt/dress can help SO much
cutting slits on the sides of tight shirts helps relieve tightness + you can add an accent fabric, lace, or fishnet material under there for an extra design element (or safety pin it back together for a really cool punk look!)
you can do that same thing with sleeves but i recommend doing it underneath (either on the seem if it has one or to the seem that connects it to the shirt)
adding false pleats to skirts/dresses by cutting them up the sides and in the front and adding an accent fabric works really well with tightness around the legs
you can do a lot of these side-cut things to pants but if you do, it’s a good idea to add elastic to the waist band!

The big city walmart got Shadow Highs recently, and in a moment of weakness, I got Ash. I always liked the Rainbow High line well enough, but apparently I can't resist big dolls or fantasy colors, lol.
His packaging was much less complicated than the other Rainbow High doll I purchased (for a modding project) in that I was able to access all his clothes without tearing any of the packaging apart.
I didn't care for his airpods or the sneakers he wore in-box, but otherwise I love his outfits. I wonder if he's supposed to be Japanese or just an otaku? Maybe both?
I plan on going through and cleaning up the loose threads and hairs. Maybe someday I'll wash the glue out of his hair, trim the back to his crown, and style it more like the box art.
I suspect it's the case with all the Shadow High dolls, but he was a pain to photograph.
I really appreciate the eyes on this little guy.
My coworkers: what you'd do with your long weekend?
Me:
It's from the Yakuza 3 remaster (it was cut from the initial release). It's on PSN right now and a physical copy of the game (bundled with 4 and 5) will be available next year.

Okay, so I bought one of those cheapo styling heads fom Dollar Tree, thinking I could stick her on my Endless Hair Barbie.
Unsurprisingly, the rooting is bad and sparse. She also started shedding really bad after I removed the rubber band holding her hair.
So she was a little bigger than I expected, though the vinyl was a good color match in-person, lol.
She fit size-wise on a 1/3 body I got off ebay. Her neck hole would need modding to fit. With a 10/11 wig, she almost looks okay. Granted, I had to chop off all her terrible hair to put the wig on.
I'd say the head is really only okay for learning to mod and repaint vinyl heads in 1\3 scale. She would definately need a reroot or wig, though.
Tumblr has allowed filtered tags for a while, but now they offer filtered post content too.
So you can filter out posts with certain words or phrases in the text even if no one tagged it, which is fantastic. I started using it yesterday and it’s already helped me avoid 5 different posts that wouldn’t have been caught by the filtered tags.
Go to “Account,” then “Settings,” and it will be in the Filtering section right under “Filtered Tags”
