*hits feminist blunt* let's bring back arson for feminism in 2025. Please please please

I'd love to see feminists placing women in the role of "default human" from now on as a way of centering them, using feminine pronouns when speaking of people generally. Men have done this for themselves for more than long enough. I want to take maleness out of our language as much as possible, at least in English.
"To each their own" >>> "To each her own"
"Every person should be able to do what he wants" >>> "Every person should be able to do what she wants"
"God in His infinite wisdom..." >>> "God in Her infinite wisdom..."
Etc.
Just speak from the female experience as much as possible. Wash maleness out of your speech, and you'll wash it gradually out of your way of thinking.
Historical context is of course very useful for important things like Politics and Science and everything, but will also open your eyes to things like, uh... the way the clothing/textile/crafting industries try to use the word "natural" as an excuse to sell shoddy and bad quality goods and make you think that's normal.
God knows there are worse things going on in the world, but it really pisses me off when I see companies advertising "Real Shell/Pearl buttons!" like that's supposed to be some upscale selling point, and the buttons in question are the thinnest, roughest, most crudely-made buttons in existence... đđ "But they're made from Natural Materials! You can't expect Natural Materials to look refined and consistent like synthetic ones!" They are lying to you. THEY ARE LYING TO YOU! And I know this because I've seen "real shell buttons" from 100 or even 50 years ago. And most of them are sturdy and smoothly polished, of a consistent thickness, and sometimes even finely carved. The buttons on nice men's dress shirts? Those are the cheap, plastic IMITATIONS of what people expected actual mother-of-pearl buttons to look like! "Natural" isn't an excuse! Your product is cheap and badly and lazily made! And I'm so sick of this, because I see it EVERYWHERE. "Linen-look" has become shorthand for "coarsely woven fabric with visible slubs" and that drives me CRAZY because do you KNOW what kinds of linen I have seen??? Antique linen so light and fine and smooth you can't even SEE the weave unless you magnify it!!! A fragment of a linen damask tablecloth so smooth and glossy, it looks like SILK? đ (On that note, "dupioni silk" is so roughly woven that it would have been considered hardly fit to sell a century ago) "This fabric is woven of Natural Materials, so imperfections will be inevitable!" đ No! đ You just made it cheaply and sloppily, and that was your choice! đ
you say you would sacrifice yourself to save your wife, you say you would kill someone to defend your children, etc. you'd do any sort of grand gesture for your loved ones. but what about in the mean time?
would you mildly inconvenience yourself? would you take them time to actually bond with them? would put effort into remembering their likes and dislikes? would you re-evaluate your beliefs? would you try to see an argument from their point of view? would you keep your voice level instead of raising it to intimidate them?
would you dedicate a few seconds every day instead of pledging one massive push at a hypothetical point in your life?

Teenagers are rarely taught the reason why they can't consent to sex with adults.
And that's because teaching them that would completely unravel our coercion-based society.
It can be difficult to explain in detail the exact reason and all the specifics in a way that they will understand. But the simplest way to phrase it is that in some cases, even when someone agrees to something and even when they appear enthusiastic about it, there's too much of a power imbalance that it's no different than forcing them. Also, having power and being abusive doesn't require a conscious expectation to be obeyed.
Imagine a world in which every teenager understood that and was easily able to call out anyone who tried to convince them otherwise.
They'd know that there's no such thing as an employee consenting to working for a poverty wage, working in unsafe conditions, working long hours, or working without taking breaks. They'd know that there's no such thing as consenting to paying a bank overdraft fee. They'd know that there's no such thing as consenting to student loan debt. They'd know that there's no such thing as consenting to medical bills. They'd know that there's no such thing as consenting to generating profit for banks or landlords in order to have a place to live and being evicted or foreclosed when you lose your source of income. They'd know that there's no such thing as consenting to a police search. They'd know that there's no such thing as a child who's okay with their parents spanking them. They'd know that being dependent on someone does not mean that you can never criticize them. They'd know that if it's considered abusive to simply play along when someone obeys, then it has to be much more abusive to actively expect to be obeyed, which many adults do to them.
And people who benefit from a society based on coercion masquerading as freedom wouldn't like that.
So instead, teenagers are taught something dismissive. They're taught that what they want doesn't matter. They're taught that they're too young to know what love is. They're taught "it's the law". They're taught things that are insulting to their intelligence, which they'll naturally rebel against.
Dear video essay creators. A video analysis is when you analyze a piece of media. No no look at me. A summary, no matter how thorough, is not an analysis. An analysis requires you to draw conclusions about the media such as authorial intent, real-world parallels, discussion about themes/worldbuilding/character motivation, and so much more. You have to stop summarizing something and saying thatâs analysis. The Gaylors are doing more critical analysis than you. Is that who you want to lose to? The gaylors?
The way womenâs clothing is so much worse than menâs pisses me off. Itâs so difficult to find clothes that fit because theyâre all made for the same handful of ideal body types, and designed for âfashionâ (the male gaze) first. Even âcomfyâ clothes like sweatshorts are designed to make your ass look good half the time.
They canât even get something as basic as underwear right. The fact that âwedgie-freeâ women's underwear was marketed as this novel breakthrough less than twenty years ago is WILD. And it doesnât even fucking WORK!
We deserve clothes that fit, clothes that are comfortable, clothes that are functional, not overpriced skintight garbage.
Today I learned if you don't feel like making the bed and tugging the sheets under mattress blah blah blah all that work, you can just clip it in place
âCis women who donât passâ is such an insane thing to say. Do you even hear yourself? âCis womenâ donât need to âpass as womenâ. We literally ARE women, itâs that simple. The concept of passing doesnât make the slightest sense when applied to a person who doesnât identify as trans.
They're wanting to change the definition of water to see which water would qualify under the Clean Water Act...I wish I was making this up.
What this means, in layman's terms, is that not all water or wetlands would be under environmental protections, so some could legally be dumped in, scraped out of, or otherwise harmed.
The comment period for this is pretty short (just a few days left!) so please submit comments asking for ALL water to be protected.
