All jokes aside, it's possible that JD Vance killed the pope.

When an elderly person comes down with a serious illness, for the sake of their recovery, indeed their survival, they are supposed to avoid anything that may strain their weakened systems.

They are meant to avoid stress.

Which is probably at least part of the reason why Pope Francis sent his second to speak to JD Vance instead of doing it himself.

And Then... JD VANCE INSISTED TO SPEAK TO THE POPE HIMSELF.

Knowing that the pope was still recovering from PNEUMONIA at his advanced age.

Still, like an entitled american, he demanded to speak to the pope himself. Despite having been met by his political equal in status, it wasn't good enough for JD Vance.

It just might have been the final straw for an elderly man who was fighting off a serious infection to have to take the time out of his already busy schedule.

The complete lack of empathy that JD Vance brought to the Vatican, that he had already been scolded for by the leadership of the religion he claims to follow, can very easily be considered a contributing factor at the very least.

It's not a stretch to theorize the pope might have survived had JD Vance not come calling.

The jokes are funny and all... but...

Why is pro-watermelon šŸ‰ gang keep saying this is the first time they are seeing a live genocide and still nobody cares?? No this isn’t your first time!

Women around the world have been slaughtered, murdered, raped, and facing all other kinds of oppression since the dawn of time. There is already a world’s oldest and biggest genocide that is still happening today. And that is femicide.

But nobody seems to care about that because according to them there’s a "gender war" going on. I wonder if these watermelon people would be protesting and boycotting the same way if it was only the Palestinian women suffering in this genocide.

None of these people ever fought with this much vehemence for women in iran, for afghan women, for sudanese women, women in Congo, and all other women who are suffering around the world.

In fact, they’re busy glamorising terrorists like Hezbollah and Khamenieh (however the fuck you spell it) and mourning the deaths of the likes of iran’s terrorist leader who died in helicopter crash just because these bearded devils chanted "free-palestine" two, three times.

More than seventy per cent of the people who have been killed in this genocide are women and children. But the only time i see the pro-Palestine m@les talking about it is when they wanna blame it all on feminists. "WhErE aRe tHe fEmInIsTs?" "WhErE aRe tHe liBerAlS?"

Just shut the fuck up and tell me where are all the anti-feminist men and women who love to say m@n should be the leaders?? Where are all the muslim and christian conservative bigots who keep saying shit like women should obey men and men should lead?? These are your leaders now!

Muslim women commenting "BoYcOTT" under every female influencer’s post promoting an israeli brand while at the same time cooking and cleaning like slaves for their husbands so these men could become the next big leaders oppressing women using their power.

If you wanna boycott anything, then boycott these men. Stop coddling them and stop doing anything for them. Instead, use all that energy in making yourself a powerful leader.

But no, FemInIsts aRe sO eVil aNd wRonG fOr tElliNg wOmEn tO sToP coNfOrMinG tO gEndEr rOLes. FeMinIsTs hAve rUiNed EvEryThInG fOr wOmEn. ThEy aRe sOciEty bReAkeRs!

It’s not the feminists fault that there’s a genocide going on, it’s the men’s. Men are the ones who vote for these male politicians. Men are the ones who worship these male leaders. Men are the ones who ruin everything for women. The enemy is exposed yet your rage is directed in the wrong direction.

There’s not one male world leader who is not destroying the planet with his evilness. But all i see is comparisons being made about which one of them is more evil; the islamic ones or the zionist ones or the white ones??

Listen! Idgaf about your free palestine land or the entire boycott list of brands. I don’t even care about your brave palestinian m@les dying either. Y’all cry about pregnant palestinian women having a hard time and feminists doing nothing for them, but who the fuck is impregnating them????

Women of Palestine should be freed from both israel and Palestinian men. That’s just what i care about. And women of Israel should be freed from these men too. No, they don’t deserve to be raped or killed just because they support Israel. It’s not even palestine vs Israel, it’s men vs women; where men are the oppressors on both sides and women are the victims on both sides. Every war has always been a genocide against women.

Historical context is of course very useful for important things like Politics and Science and everything, but will also open your eyes to things like, uh... the way the clothing/textile/crafting industries try to use the word "natural" as an excuse to sell shoddy and bad quality goods and make you think that's normal.

God knows there are worse things going on in the world, but it really pisses me off when I see companies advertising "Real Shell/Pearl buttons!" like that's supposed to be some upscale selling point, and the buttons in question are the thinnest, roughest, most crudely-made buttons in existence... šŸ™„šŸ˜’ "But they're made from Natural Materials! You can't expect Natural Materials to look refined and consistent like synthetic ones!" They are lying to you. THEY ARE LYING TO YOU! And I know this because I've seen "real shell buttons" from 100 or even 50 years ago. And most of them are sturdy and smoothly polished, of a consistent thickness, and sometimes even finely carved. The buttons on nice men's dress shirts? Those are the cheap, plastic IMITATIONS of what people expected actual mother-of-pearl buttons to look like! "Natural" isn't an excuse! Your product is cheap and badly and lazily made! And I'm so sick of this, because I see it EVERYWHERE. "Linen-look" has become shorthand for "coarsely woven fabric with visible slubs" and that drives me CRAZY because do you KNOW what kinds of linen I have seen??? Antique linen so light and fine and smooth you can't even SEE the weave unless you magnify it!!! A fragment of a linen damask tablecloth so smooth and glossy, it looks like SILK? 😭 (On that note, "dupioni silk" is so roughly woven that it would have been considered hardly fit to sell a century ago) "This fabric is woven of Natural Materials, so imperfections will be inevitable!" šŸ™ƒ No! šŸ˜€ You just made it cheaply and sloppily, and that was your choice! 😊

i really like the definition of ā€œadult human femaleā€ because it says ā€œthats all it is. its not femininity, makeup, submissiveness, softness, anything. all it is is biology. the rest is up to the individualā€

The English words related to tool follow the patriarchal dichotomy of sex-based task assignment: the inside of a house, the female realm, and the outside, male sphere of activity. Housework, tasks performed inside a house, are "women's work," while tasks performed outside are "men's work." This division of labor is meaningful to English speakers even though they may not be conscious of its existence. Men use tools, instruments (with the exception of a few musical instruments), implements, machines, and gizmos outside. Women use utensils, appliances, and gadgets inside. In English, we speak of kitchen utensils, kitchen appliances, and kitchen gadgets—used by women, they are not considered tools. A search of the tools listed in Roget's International Thesaurus (1977) reveals only a few items stereotypically used by women (tweezers, nail file, bread knife, scissors), but numerous names for equipment reserved to the male sphere specifying types of drill, clutch, saw, plane, hammer, and wrench. Recently, though, KitchenAid has begun to advertise one of its mixers as a POWER TOOL, a tactic that blurs the boundary between the two experiential domains. Its actual effect, however, reenforces the barrier. Because women are leaving their interior domain for the male domain of "real" work, the ad imports the [+ male] phrase, power tool, and applies it to the equipment women use in a kitchen. Nothing has to change but the label applied to the objects women use; our "domain" remains the kitchen.

Man, the anthropologists tell us, distinguishes himself from other animals by his use of tools. Any object restricted to male use and ownership is a "tool," whether it's language, a hammer, or a penis. Men speak of their penises as tools, and describe their activity in heterosexual intercourse as "screwing," "nailing," "banging," "reaming," "drilling," and "hammering." So intense is the male obsession with their "tools" and females as containers or holes they penetrate that any two objects suggestive of that description, for example, electrical outlets and plugs, nuts and bolts, will have the metaphor imposed upon them. The essential distinction of PUD [Patriarchal Universe of Discourse] is the one which identifies the FUCKER and the FUCKEE.
