I was making my characters miserable in my writing, and now I'm miserable (because of unrelated life things), so now I'm going to go back and wallow in said character's misery some more.

Elf Vampire

Well... that's one way of evading the vampire hunters. Pierce is not beating the Christmas Elf allegations.

In spite of his delightful personality, he does have some bad vampire tendencies. Stalking and hiding in high places, for example.

At the moment, I'm putting him through some pain in my book (complicated backstory comes back to bite him in the behind), so let him have some fun.

I'm pretty sure I'm powerless to resist making more than one (if not all of them) eventually, so no need to break your brain trying to choose just one.

Silliness aside, being scatterbrained and fidgety is not the only trait of ADHD. When I read that rejection sensitive dysphoria is a part of the ADHD gift pack, I nearly punched the person next to me. That's the only way I can describe how gobsmacked I was. So much of my social problems come from not wanting to risk getting rejected - and my assumption that everyone reacts to rejections as badly.

In answer to urgent questions, those are my ideas for a good summoning, I mean, Christmas party. Passing the mic to @blackforrestpunk and @vladimirsangel - I insist that I not be entirely culpable for this.

It started out as a chicken joke, and then Aiden decided it deserves a place in my printable Christmas Advent, so now it seems doomed to be a running gag. The lil summoners are as follows: batty ears is Aurik, Vlad's Nosferatu, masked cat is Aiden's Punk Erik and the dummy in the bowtie is my Pierce.
