This vampurr feels like she's just been sucker-punched with a potato sack of garlic.
2024 probably thought it was too good to me and HAD to go out with a Parthian shot. Well, at least I got to finish a good vampire podcast in one sitting. Happy New Year, people.
Hiii, just wanted to say hi and ask how your Halloween was?
Have a lovely day/night
- Jam 🐝 ✨️
Hellow Jam, thank you very much for asking! It always makes me happy to see your little frogger picture!
My Hallowe'en season has been bonkers! I was burnt out from Inktober and also the case-of-internet-identity drama came right on its heels.
It's fine, I'm fine, at least I can have a laugh making Sherlock memes about it!
The most spooky thing I did this year was make a bunch of costumes for my stuffed Purrlock and rant about how Kindle had the AUDACITY to recommend me a Christmas romance on November 1st. Me, whose library is full of rubbishy vampire fiction side by side with Victorian horror classics! All good fun.
I hope you had a good halloween & a lovely day/night!
Results are in... of course. How can I forget that this blog is haunted by Phans? Fluffy Erik it is.
I'm pretty sure I'm powerless to resist making more than one (if not all of them) eventually, so no need to break your brain trying to choose just one.
For those who don't know her, this is my nwedle felt Nosferatu, Ankle Biter Krysa Veinessa Whateley-Dickenson, Kryssie for short. More pictures here!
Quick sketch of my newest vampire. Unlike Pierce, October is a classic toxic heartthrob vampire with broody antihero problems, a long, bad history with damsels, and he rides a motorbike. In black leather clothes. Oh, geez.
He and Pierce are blood-feuding rivals.
Well, to be clear, October is out to get Pierce, but Pierce has a bit of a weak spot for people who hate him, as it were, so it's a one-sided relationship. On both sides.
Drawn with one brush (two if we count the sketch), one blending brush, and ten(ish) colours. The blending brush is my best friend when it comes to digital art. Pierce looked like a Muppet in makeup before blending.
I had more to say about the process, but I feel the need to go play dead for a while, so I'll leave it at that. If there's any you want to know, let me know, I'll be in my coffin.

Blog post: The Freedom to be Grotesque and Gothic Authoresses
"I shall thus give a general answer to the question, so frequently asked me—How I, then a young girl, came to think of, and to dilate upon, so very hideous an idea?"
- Mary Shelley, Introduction to Frankenstein
In the 1831 edition of Frankenstein, Mary Shelley explained how she, as a 19-year-old young woman, wrote a work that shook contemporary intellectuals.
“I didn’t mean anything by it; it’s only flight of fancy,” the writers who defined gothic literature said to a world that was not prepared to accept that women with no formal education were capable of the intellectual prowess woven into these tales of dark, profound, terrifying worlds.
We have long lived in a society that is quick to denounce, demonise and deny the voices that speak in a different tone. Even if you never show it to a single soul, write. Write, because to write dark, terrible things is to accept that they exist inside you without shame.

Unedited post - with a short piece I published years ago - linked above!
Internet not working, can't upload drawings, so reblog. I'm moving my writing excerpts to this blog, since the other one is for art now
💀💀💀 Three for halloween. Though no pressure :) yay!
Scene: L'Ôpéra des Vampires, the Midnight Summer's Masque. (I'm hungover from rereading Phantom of the Opera and had to write this slightly fanfiction-ish section)
Will give you the bits for the other two skulls soon! Opinions and advice welcome, I don't bite and Pierce doesn't either without permission!Send '💀' in my asks, and I'll post a piece of my writing
Here are some stupid pics of my gremlin cat :3
(Maybe they can be a bit of help) <3
I HAVE BEEN BLESSED BY THE GREMLIN cat!
Every one of these photos is precious, but there's a special place in my heart for blurry cat pictures. Here's my stuffy gremlin as a tiny token of gratitude🥹 Thank you so much, Ghost!
(I was shooting him with a Lego gun. As an Experiment.)
A card I drew as an example for my cat greeting card comms on Ko-fi!

Some time ago, I said to a friend (you know who you are) that Cherik had a big sword, and I remember this meme by @1loveonelifetime
Of course, I had to make a Kitty Cherik version.
More POTO cats drawings here!
