He's right over my desk, and I feel him judging me. Very annoying. He'll be happy there.
As for the gingerbread vampire, I didn't get instructions about how to feed you, Innocent, and I'm pretty sure it hurt him more than it hurt you.
This is the situation. Please advise.
He stole my gingerbread man, and I found he's made a sort of den in my bookshelf.
...I should just leave him there, shouldn't I?
Ahhh yeah. About that. Both my main OCs are a bit obsessive about nesting. Innocent favours inconvenient places, so anywhere he'll be most in the way or most annoying to have to walk past all the time. He also loves puzzles so sitting right atop Cain's Jawbone will make him feel right at home.
He has some feedback on the baking, by the way.
Red death.
I was recently informed by @blackghostm2o that we never got to see Cherik at a masquerade. This is my humble attempt to rectify that, since we all know that Cherik is the best dressed Phantom. The fashion historian Bernadette Banner has made a Red Death gown with the boning exposed to give it a skeletal look, so I borrowed the idea and incorporated a boned corset.
Skoodles I did for a possible vampurr self-help book. Working title is "Vampurr's guide to Unlife." I skip between projects like a Mexican jumping bean and, well, this is the newest one!
Help me name the vampurr master in the cape (the lackey in the background is Zaida). Now I'm calling him Count Vladipurr von McFangs, which works for him, I guess - he's the same lil guy from this vampurr initiation test comic here

Erik.
(More Woolly Erik here)
Remember when I talked about the good old-fashioned vampire-smiting method of sucking their gums? That's definitely what's going on here.
Also, Book Dracula and his Van Helsing:
In my defence, I have none. Very proud of how I drew Monster Dracula's face. Good bye.
Doomed by the narrative.
They doomed themselves and each other. They treated each other like monsters and believed themselves to be monsters.
The "monster or human" narrative is one of the central conflicts of the story. Were we made wrong, or did we lose our souls somewhere along the way? What happens when you believe you are a monster?
Before I worry anyone unduly, my well-being is, well, quite well. A reason I hesitate to post my writing is that I'm worried I'll make people concerned - yes, a lot of it is based on experience, but it's gothic fiction and I paint it darker than it is. Also, I have a gremlin in my brain that screams, "MAKE IT WEIRDER!" A weird imagination is the side effect of growing up feeding on novels, don't read too much into it.
Welp, I suppose we'll soon know just how weird it is, if I don't chicken out and actaully release the creepy lil creature into the internet.
There goes the vampurr with her coffin full of necessities ⚰️
I'm going on a trip! I'll probably be logged off for four days, but there's shenanigans queued up, so you'll still technically hear from me.
Feel free to clog up my inbox, I will be very happy to wade through them when I get back.
Catch you later!
WAIT, this deserves a drawing reblog:
Pierce, mon cher, that's nice, but your philosophy of 'You have problems? That's all right, me too!' is the reason you have so many relationship problems. And you're lucky Aurik is an angel who puts up with your shenanigans. (Your hair looks magnificent in any style, Aurik.)
Vlad, this is better than anything I could have imagined when I first started posting doodles of my disaster kitten Pierce, thank you 😹
Well, Aurik, you did say he could do your hair.
@purrlockswatson
Hiii, just wanted to say hi and ask how your Halloween was?
Have a lovely day/night
- Jam 🐝 ✨️
Hellow Jam, thank you very much for asking! It always makes me happy to see your little frogger picture!
My Hallowe'en season has been bonkers! I was burnt out from Inktober and also the case-of-internet-identity drama came right on its heels.
It's fine, I'm fine, at least I can have a laugh making Sherlock memes about it!
The most spooky thing I did this year was make a bunch of costumes for my stuffed Purrlock and rant about how Kindle had the AUDACITY to recommend me a Christmas romance on November 1st. Me, whose library is full of rubbishy vampire fiction side by side with Victorian horror classics! All good fun.
I hope you had a good halloween & a lovely day/night!
I come with necessities.
It's sad to think that AI art trends will probably be around for a good long while. Let's make sure that we can beat it back with counter-trends. Here's my small and silly contribution to #StarterPackNoAI.
Really, people, if you want to see starter pack art, ask me! I'd draw it. It might look wonky and full of jokes, but on the bright side, I don't charge you for works made of mashed-up stolen art, which is all generative AI does (a tip would be nice though)
Amanda. Artist. Writer. Victorian vampire. Here lies my shenanigans.
