YOU GUYS I WAS AT (INSERT NAME OF PUBLIC AREA HERE FOR PRIVACY REASONS) AND LIKE I WAS JUST WALKING AROUND UNABLE TO HEAR SHIT AND WAITING FOR MY YOUNGER BRO AND SUDDENLY I CAN VAGUELY HEAR A, "We'll carry onnn" THROUGH THE SPEAKERS (dude it was so loud I couldn't really hear shit) AND I WAS LIKE. MOTHERFUCKER IS THAT WHAT I THINK IT IS??? BUT I COULDN'T HEAR THE ACTUAL MUSIC WELL, BUT I COULD HEAR THE DRUMS AND YES YES IT WAS AND I WAS LIKE HOLY SHIT. BECAUSE IT WAS THE MOST RANDOM PLACE TO PLAY FUCKING WELCOME TO THE BLACK FUCKING PARADE (new official title).

As someone currently googling a lot about fascist regimes for funsies, this intrigues me 🤔

something that’s been stumping me about the new lore dump is “the black parade”.

how does it fit into the wider lore we already have for the black parade? A national band for a fascist regime is definetly a far cry from a marching band that leads you into the afterlife. 6247 days since the black parade is dead show, and since the black parade was “sent to the MOAT”.

it’s strange, obviously the question is “what is the moat”. I have what I hope is not too far fetched of a theory, I believe the moat could be the afterlife, or at least the place where the black parade as we know it resided.

Sending away the black parade to the moat was having it killed. Similar to how the black parade is dead killed them off (hence why it’s been 17 years since they last played). Their work privelage had been revoked now it’s been reinstated. Forced to work for the immortal dictator, forced back to a life they did not want.

the black parade as we know it inspired hope, inspiring us to carry on, to stay alive. Such sentiments would pose a threat to a farscist government, needing to be silenced. But as a cruel or symbolic punishment the dictator has chosen to revive them.

I'm making this a thing now so I have an excuse to post my random moments in life and thoughts that nobody asked for :D

So I was feeling sentimental and decided to go watch A Festive Day in the Life of Dan and Phil and thus discovered new life goal that I will never achieve:

Find a really good best friend that I can be silly goofy with and have possibly romantic tension with, start a joint Youtube channel with them, live with them, and live my life in what is basically marital bliss while the internet watches. Basically I need to find the Dan to my Phil. Or the Phil to my Dan? Idk which one is more similar to me.
