Okay, crazy theory/headcanon that doesn't have that much evidence to it but

What if it has to do with age?

Callie, Marie, Pearl and Marina are implied to be older than our player character (somewhere in their 20s), and I don't know how old the members of Deep cut are, but I headcanon them as older than neo 3 and younger than the squid sisters (18 to 21).

So what if inkling and octoling hair colors become more natural overtime, slowly fading from their original ink colors to the natural hair colors we see with the first two idols before they dry out like how Cuttlefish so kindly demonstrated for us.

And then it would be funny if they could be revived by their fellow cephalopods' tears like with what Cap'n 3 did.

And they can no longer transform into their humanoid form lol.

EDIT:

I just noticed you can even see starting to happen with Shiver's hair.

Am I the only one confused by this?

Hi. I'm back on my sonic bullshit! :)

So I've been thinking about that abandoned comic series concept I had (context in this post: )

After my post about the sonic movie, I've had sonic on the brain (and my inbox has been blowing up). And it got me thinking about something

And I've been thinking about some of the concepts and storylines of it. So now ya'll gon listen to me ramble about a few of them.

Sonic and Tails would have been biological brothers (their mother being a fox and their father being a hedgehog, don't ask). Their parents would have been absent through out most of the story, as they would have worked for the military.

Most chaodes (characters who have powers) were born with them, but Sonic's powers would have been zapped into him through the blue chaos emerald, this would have also given him his iconic blue color.

The plan was for the series to go on for at most four volumes. But for how many stories I wanted to cram in there, I wouldn't have been surprised if it went over six.

Most of the cast such as Sonic, Amy, Shadow, etc., would have been teenagers, so some of the stories would have taken place in a high school.

Shadow would have had a crush on Sonic lol.

Metal sonic would have had a redemption arch and Amy would have developed a sibling like relationship with him. That would have happened a bit later into the comic.

After my post about the sonic movie, I've had sonic on the brain (and my inbox has been blowing up). And it got me thinking about something I had on deviantart (that I'm no longer active on so don't ask).

A while back I had this comic idea about sonic and I wanted to make it a whole series with volumes and an ongoing plot and stuff.

It was going to take place 85 years into the future (it was 2019) and some of the best scientists in the world have been able to create a new species of anthropomorphic animals (which I called "antronoids") using chaos energy. Some of these animals had so much chaos energy in their blood, they developed different powers (I called them chaodes, Sonic being one of them). And of course there's your usual "Robotnick wants to take over the world ", "chaos emeralds", "shipping bait", you get it.

I even got to the concept art stage

I highly doubt I doubt that I will ever revive this idea, but it was fun to revisit it.

And I found out that I can draw sonic characters in the original style, so I Redesigned(?) The main cast!
