wait what do you think about suicide? honestly I know this sounds condescending but I think a lot of your opinions just stem from the fact that you (it appears) are super depressed and suicidal yourself. and of course that impacts your worldview I just think it's important to be self-aware about how it does. I used to be depressed and anti natalist but as I recovered and healed I realized that life is beautiful so it isn't wrong to bring children into the world if and only if you can give them a good and beautiful life. but you clearly don't see it that way as you are depressed and don't think life is beautiful, so of course you anti natalist. but I just think it's important to be self aware

Thresholds for suffering and bodily autonomy must be respected. If someone is saying no, i want out, i want autonomy and education to end my life by my own terms in a safe way, that is their right and i would fight and die for that right. i support sanctioned suicide and right to die.

Chemical imbalance theory for depression has been thoroughly disproven by the very people who proposed it. Serotonin has nothing to do with depression. No, depression is not an illness that makes you see the world incorrectly. No, depressed people are not wrong about everything because they experienced rare, random, or avoidable harms. There will surely be infinitely more bogus "scientific" explanation for why people who are not happy with this world are actually somehow mentally ill and illogical, and I will continue ignoring and spitting on them. Depressed people are simply reacting quite normally to facts about the terribleness of life and are thus not as enthusiastically engaging with it or perpetuating it. Sorry to burst your bubble on that.

You are in fact condescending, in a dangerous way, and I would ask you kindly to please reconsider your views and to not speak to others in this way. Suicide rates go down drastically when education, respect, autonomy, and validation is given to those wishing to commit suicide. Statements such as yours isolate the depressed and convince them their own senses cannot be trusted, it is extremely damaging. Also angering, when they have the good sense to know that what you said to them is condescending ignorant bollocks. I see life as not beautiful, not "because I am depressed" but because it is my valid opinion on what life contains and inherently causes. I will eventually leave this world because I don't like it and dont condone it and I will do so by exercising Right to Die or by self administering sodium nitrite that i make myself, and along the way I will educate as many people as possible on safe methods because I believe bodily autonomy, right to death, and right to education on death are human rights.

Hopefully that all helps you with building some self awareness and I say that genuinely. Most depressed people are desperate and will not stand up for themselves and will not cause you to come to any realizations about yourself or your situation.
