Question: So tonight you're on stage with your brother.

Noel: Unfortunately, yes.

Question: Unfortunately. You don't like each other very much.

Noel: No.

Question: Is there anything you like about your brother? Anything?

Noel: There's lots of things I like about his personality, but he doesn't like me.

Question: Do you know why?

Noel: Uuuhm...

Question: Have you ever talked to him about it?

Noel: I don't know. You'd have to speak to him. But I know he doesn't like me. He insults me all the time.

Question: But you like him.

Noel: There's certain aspects of him that I like.

Question: What kind of aspects?

Noel: HE WEARS CRAZY SHOES

Question: Ah. Anything else?

Noel: He has crazy hair.

Question: And what's that got to do with his personality?

Noel: They're just things I find attractive in men.

🥲 I love them so much

I walked in there and someone said "Elvis is trying to learn bass“, I said “Well, I’m your boy”.

I stumbled upon this in the mall once (lured over by a large Magical Mystery Tour poster in a clothing store window), and it's probably my favourite article of clothing. A $450 (CAD) band shirt that will most likely be identified as a band shirt by nobody, even without a jacket.

Did you know?

John Lennon marked almost every page of a biographical pamphlet about The Beatles, called The Beatles From Apple, with corrections and comments in 1971. 

In an entry noting Paul and Linda’s wedding, John crossed out the word “wedding” and written “funeral” in it’s place. Normal stuff. 

Who never called their best friend’s wedding a funeral when they were mad at each other, right? Awww…

“At the beginning it was very hard, knowing that we were going in there to do this track with him. It was pretty emotional. He wasn’t there. I loved John. We had to imagine he’d just gone for a cup of tea, that he’s gone on holiday but he’s still here. That’s the only way I could get through it.”
