it gets easier. everyday, it gets a little easier, but you gotta do it everyday. that's the hard part. but i promise it gets easier.

Spent the day with a new friend in the library (spending more time pouring over recent reads and planning a book club, rather than studying!)
Hi, all!
Currently at the library trying to catch up on some ochem and physics studying. Spent yesterday doing the finishing touches on my English essays. Friday, I worked my second job, and oh my god. It was quite literally the worst day on a job I've ever ever had. Is it just me or does it seem like people are becoming way more comfortable being cruel for no reason? Fortunately, I'm not the type to bite my tongue, so I did not allow what happened to go uncalled out. I don't understand this attitude people have where being mean to people making 80 bucks a day is somehow funny??? Grow up! Ugh.
Anyway, the good news is, if things keep looking good for me, a car may be in my near future. Just have to work out a few issues, but it's looking very plausible for the new year! It would be such a great help, considering right now I'm a bus girl. I don't mind it, tbh. I'll probably still use the bus once I have a car, regularly, but I definitely need the car for internships and such. Right now, my mom has to pretty much drive me everywhere that I need, so it's really inconvenient for her as well.
Okok. Back to work!
Hope everyoe is having a good weekend!
Thanks for reading!

november 6. life lately. still reeling from last night. writing the mpre in a couple days—wish me luck!
23rd August 2024
So the good news is that my chemistry and English exams went really well. I'm pretty happy with the chem score, though there's a lot to improve in my preparation.
The bad news is that I was rejected from my dream exchange program. HOWEVER the good news there is that it's not because my application wasn't good, it's because I didn't meet the age criteria (too young). So, honestly, I'll take it. At least my anxiety can shut up now.
Next is physics, in three days. Not much to do beyond practise and revision of formulae.
In the next week, my reference books for 2024 and a book stand will be delivered, so I'm (naïvely) excited about getting to work on annotations and digitalising my notes in the month after midterms.
Have a good day ahead!
