One of the purest moments I have on a semi-regular basis is seeing a complete and total stranger rocking out to a song they love by themselves in their car and I’m just sitting there in a different lane in my car with no clue who they are but smiling fondly at their enjoyment and silliness

AND NOW THE U.S. HAS IT THANK YOU
OKAY so last week I saw Avatar the Last Airbender was on Netflix! And I was so excited, I was like finally!! I supposed they finally put it on Netflix as like promotion or something because of the new live action Avatar that Netflix is planning?
But then
I tried to continue watching it yesterday
And
it wasn’t available
?????
Then I realized.
I was in Canada for spring break last week.
ATLA isn’t on Netflix in the States!! Canada has it. We don’t and I feel so cheated just so you know

I think the meanest thing i can say about obi-wan kenobi is that he’s deeply, truly, fundamentally British.
my internal monologue when Ancient Egypt is mentioned: [don't talk about imhotep and the first codified diagnostic manual. the fact you know so much about it is deeply weird and nobody cares about medicine that much]
Yeah, have any of you read The Strange Case of the Alchemist’s Daughter? (It’s the first book in a series called The Extraordinary Adventures of the Athena Club.) The series features a blend of characters (specifically female characters) from 1800s stories such as Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Sherlock Holmes, Frankenstein, Dracula, The Island of Doctor Moreau, Rapaccini’s Daughter, Carmilla, The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Great God Pan, She, The Jewel of Seven Stars - and possibly a couple others I might have missed, because there’s obviously a lot.
Anyway, these books are a super fun read, and I highly recommend!
