it wasn't just Buck trying to dig Eddie up by hand. it was Bobby bodily dragging him off the ground and Buck sobbing in his arms. it was Hen and Chim giving him the spousal treatment. it was Bobby looking at him with an understanding of grief. it was Hen saying there will be two cut lines if Buck went down. it would have been rough but simpler if it was just Buck digging at the earth. it became much more because everyone else knew what that meant.

so fucking irritated with the narrative of “two men can be close platonic friends without romantic feelings” in regards to buddie because 1) you can be friends and in love 2) men are friends on this show? chim and buck, chim and bobby, bobby and michael 3) point me to this so called plethora of male slowburn friends-to-lovers canon ships that exist in media so i can watch that instead

This is my problem with SOME

BuckTommy shippers. NOT all. We aren't the ones creating theories.. the show is literally telling us this. The fact that we are being called "fuckass fan theories" is sooo telling because what was s2-s7x04 when WE ALL had theories about buck being queer coded? Were those"fuckass fan theories" as well? The hypocrisy and the way that buddies aren't even allowed to theorize anymore just because buck is with him. the AMOUNT of theories WE ALL HAD about queer buck during bucks relationships with Ali, Taylor, Lucy, and Natalia... Why the fuck is it different now that he's with Tommy. Why do the theories suddenly have to STOP NOW?

This isn’t even about buddie anymore. This is about SOME their shippers acting like BUDDIES aren’t allowed to theorize now that buck is in a relationship with Tommy. I know they don’t ship Buck with Eddie, and that’s fine, but you mean to tell me WHILE Buck was in his any of previous relationships, you NEVER shipped him with another man from the show or had theories…..
