This quote really goes well with what I have planned. With one choice the Voltron we knew changed.

● The Galra Guard never chose Matt instead Shiro. Matt and Shiro were never separated

● Keith didn’t drop out of the Academy and stayed to investigate inside what happened to Shiro.

● Lance was never in Keith’s class. Only knew about him from gossip and when he entered the academy

● Katie never entered the Academy since her mom needed her more but that didn’t stop her from finding the truth.

● Everything in Canon follows Shiro and Matt escape together, meet the academy gang who saved them, find the blue lion and meet Allura.

● Matt does not want to be a Paladin since he’s not over what the Galra did to him and that he just wants to go home. But he stays to find his father and when he does he’ll leave.

● Tension between Keith and Matt since Matt is valuing his father more then the mission.

Now Katie.

● News hit that 3 students went missing at the Garrison Hunk, Lance, and Keith. She investigates it and she finds videos of Shiro and Matt and the missing students escaping from the Garrison. Along with Shiro screaming Voltron.

● Katie still made that machine from ep1.

● Garrison still has the Galra ship and She decides she has to see what’s inside and see if she can get anything out of it.

● She tells her mom everything and tells her what she is about to do.

● Her plan goes well and she is able to get inside the ship but alarms go off and so with no choice left she actives the ships and the ship takes her into space towards a Galra ship base.

● Captured by the Galra she is taken to the rest of the prisoners and there she learns more about Shiro and her family.

Katie gets there about a few episodes before S2 ends. Katie fights in the area for months before Lotor makes his appearance. Yeah I made her the new champion inspired by Escape the Empire by Empress_Of_Edenia

Lotor

● Acxa is not one of his generals but a member of the Blade of Marmora

● So when he is appointed the Throne there is a celebration in his honor.

● One is a show between the greatest fighters on the Arena Katie vs. Some other Alien

● it’s a tough win but Katie manges and Lotor and his generals are impressed.

● Lotor gathers all info on her and wants her as one of his generals.

● So he strikes a deal with her. She refuses at 1st but when Lotor shows her father. He’s on a bed sick. He was working in one of the labs and got quintessence poisoning.

● If Katie joins him he will provide all the necessary medical treatment and more. Seeing no other way she agrees.

● Katie and the general become close and as well as Lotor.

● With Lotor wanting to be different from his father the colonies under his rule are reluctantly OK with him.

● Katie becomes known to the Galaxy since just because of her personality, inventions and her time as champion. She is well respected and maybe loved.

● She reminds the Empire of the last Empress. Taking inspiration from Golden Madness by potentiala

Notes. Lotor will marry her in order to get a stronger claim to the throne. His father is old and new blood must sit on the throne for the future of the Empire. Along with that he only sees her as the only person to be his Empress

Shiro knows who Katie is by Matt but though their interactions in fights and when they have to work together. He grows to care about her.

Keith and Axca are siblings
