I would’ve chosen Paul Rudd Paris if I was Juliet
I relate to pre-crash Misty so much, except for the whole “I drown animals part” but you know what I mean
I’m writing this book rn about two Actress sisters in the late 70s through early 90s, and here’s the first line in the book.
A child never asks to be born…the mother does, hopefully because the mother loves her child, like how Caroline loved Evangeline. But as Celeste stared down the barrel of her mother’s gun, she suspected her mother had different reasons. Why did this happen? Was it because Caroline told her she wanted to take a break from acting? Or was it because Celeste told her that she was in love with a woman? All she knew was Carmen Rochester would go down in history as the woman who killed her two daughters for saying no.
The outsiders OCs I created because I had nothing better to do with my life.
Ladybird Jane Curtis
• 16 going on 17
• Sodapop’s twin sister
• Nicknames are Bird, Birdie, doll and Lady (but only Dallas call’s her Lady)
• was President of her school’s drama club until she had to drop out to help support her family after their parents died
•Great liar, the only one who can tell if she’s lying is Dally
•Secretly dated a soc (Randy) but broke up with him the night of her parents funeral
•She’s often the gang’s alibi because of her gift for lying (she’s gotten Dallas out of jail more times than she can count)
•Her and Two-bit are platonic besties (they watch Disney and Micky Mouse together a lot)
•works at the local 24 hour dinner with Sandy (before ya know, she cheated)
• fiercely protective of Ponyboy (she had to practically become his mom)
•idolizes Marilyn Monroe and Clara Bow (she loves old Hollywood)
•Smokes and will put her cigarettes in her rolled up sleeves for easy access but hates the taste of alcohol
• She’s her mom’s twin
• Has a unrealized crush on Dallas (they often flirt with one another while Silvia and Dally are broken up but Darrel often puts a stop to it)
• “My only sister Ladybird runs up to us, she’s Sodapop’s twin and pretty much the female version of him, beautiful and always positive, she has bombshell blonde hair and mom’s kind eyes, always looking at you like they’re is no one else in the world that she rather be looking at, but now her eyes are looking at me with horror. She despises the sight of blood or me being hurt, she treats me like a damn baby who is always hurt”
Book description of Ladybird aka Ladybird from Pony’s perspective
• I got inspired by Daisy Buchanan for her character description and design
Kathrine “Kitty” Lorraine Lebeau-Curtis
•20
• Darrel’s then gf turned wife by the end of the story
• Has a mom who in the nicest terms is a drunken a hole who is literally insane
• She’s short because she was oftentimes malnourished as a child and would be locked in a room with no food for days on end as punishments
• From Montgomery, Alabama but moved to Tulsa when she was 10 when her baby sister (Margaret) was found de@d in the bathtub and her mother’s reputation was ruined.
• Grew up on the soc side of town and was practically a soc for many of her teenage years but always hated how socs treated greasers
•Sews all of her own clothes and will fix the gang’s clothes as well (and she’s great at it)
• “Patiently” waiting for her mother to kick the bucket so she can sell her house (it’s a soc house so it would go for a lot) so she can help her husband out with the bills more (Darrel insists that she doesn’t need to do that for him but she doesn’t listen) it probably won’t take much longer for her to pass because of the amount of drügs she’s taking
• Works as a seamstress
• Was cheer captain back in high school and was damn good at it (her team won several national titles under her leadership and she owns several championship rings)
• Originally dated Paul Holden (that’s how she met Darry) but he was a horrible boyfriend who would often beat on her and belittle her, Darrel was the one who stood up for her and treated her like she was a person and not some doll to be tossed around, that’s one of the reasons why she fell in love with Darry
• Paul hates Darrel for “taking her away from him” when Darry literally was the only one who treated her like a person
• Darrel doesn’t know why she stayed with him (but he isn’t complaining)
• The gang’s mom
• Doesn’t smoke or drink (she has trauma from her mother burning her with cigarettes)
• Becomes her high school’s cheer coach by the end of the story (Cherry and Marcia idolize her)
• Worries about Darrel a lot (she thinks he’s over working himself too much)
•literally the original Cherry Valance
• “Darry’s girlfriend, Kathrine “Kitty” Lebeau was behind Birdie, she’s pretty short with strawberry blonde hair and deep sea blue eyes and a scar just underneath her lip from a cheerleading accident when she was 13. She’s the complete opposite of Darry, and a ex soc no less, but I still like her she’s a good cook and a good person to talk to. I don’t get why she wastes her time with Darry, she has her pick of the crop but still picks Darry.”

Tell me what y’all think!
Sandy from The Outsiders is probably one of if not the most hated character in the book for her cheating on Sodapop and getting pregnant. But what if that wasn’t the whole story? What if the baby truly was Soda’s? And what if she needed to leave Tulsa for her child’s safety and her owns? (This will include 2 of my Outsiders OCs, Kitty Lebeau and Ladybird Curtis)
This is loosely based on the cut dialogue between Soda and Pony in the La Jolla production of the Musical
This is that dialogue.
In this AU, Sandy remains a soc as she is in La Jolla and after she becomes pregnant she learns of her Mother’s plot to have the baby taken away as soon as they are born as she couldn’t possibly have a grandchild with greaser blood. So she turns to the one woman she trusts most in the world, her old cheer captain (and my OC) Kitty Lebeau. (So this is a fusion of La Jolla and the book)
Run Run Captain.

“So the moment after the child is born they’ll come and take it away? Good. Lord knows I will never have my precious daughter’s reputation stained by the account of some hood. She’ll thank me one day.” I hear mother spit on the phone, my mind races, she can’t! Soda said he would take care of us. Doesn’t she understand!? I slip back into my room, it hadn’t been three days since I found out I was pregnant and she said that she would support whatever I wanted to do, I should have known.
I sink to the floor, tears streaming down my face. Oh god, what do I do? The thought of my child being taken away from me, from us pains me. I can’t tell Sodapop, he’ll go ballistic on mother, then no telling what she’ll do. I could get help from Ladybird, but she’d immediately tell Soda, she is his twin after all. My cheer coach? No, she’d side with my mom, the old bat. So nobody, nobody in the world who could help me. A picture frame caught my attention, it was a picture of my first championship with me holding up our 1st. Place trophy with the help of… oh yes! Why didn’t I think of this before! My cheer captain predecessor, and probably the best thing that could ever happen to our cheer program. Katherine Lebeau.
I waited until it was about 9 at night to sneak out of the house, I hope to god that she was at her mom’s house, the woman’s insane and was abusive towards Katherine. I stop my bike in front of her house, thank god Darrel’s (Katherine’s fiancée) truck is in the driveway. I rush into the house to see Katherine in the kitchen drinking some tea.
“Sandy! What are you doing here? Are you alright?” She quickly stands up from her stool. “Mother’s trying to take my baby away when it’s born” I spit out. Her face goes white, “what?” Her thick Alabaman accent slurs her speech. “Katherine, what do I do?” I cry, she wraps her arms around me. I hear someone else enter the kitchen. “Kitty…Sandy!” Ladybird runs other to us, “what happened!?” Bird asks, her voice dripping in worry. “Mother is gonna take my baby away” I cry. “Hey! I ain’t gonna let her…between the 3 of us we can come up with a plan” Katherine nods to Bird.
After we let go of each other Kathrine stays quiet for a few moments, “Tweety, go to my mother’s bathroom and grab her ring box” She tells Birdie. “…yeah” Ladybird mutters before running upstairs. “You gotta run” Katherine turns back to me, “excuse me?” I ask, “it ain’t safe for the two of you, I gotta house on Montgomery and a full tank of gas and I can get you there before daylight and be back before nightfall. We got a couple of maids and a butler that can help you. Ok?” She asks. It’s for our baby Sandy “…ok” I mutter.
Ladybird comes back in with the box, “this is my mother’s wedding ring, so once you start showing people won’t judge” she pulls out the simple gold wedding ring. “Pretend to be the wife of a Vietnam war soldier, waiting for her husband to return from war… sound good?” Ladybird, the Queen of lies, alibis and aliases asks me. “Uh…yeah that’ll work” i sheepishly take the ring, “I tell Soda about your location” Bird adds, “no!” I protest, “no?” They question in unison. “Listen I love Sodapop with all my heart but he’ll go ballistic if he learns what my mom has done. And I really need to protect my baby at all costs…even if it means breaking the love of my life’s heart” I sigh.
“What do you mean?” Katherine asks, “….tell Soda…tell him the baby isn’t his…tell him that I ‘cheated’ and brake his heart. He won’t come looking for us if he think it isn’t his, then my mom won’t be able to try and find us” I sigh. “No! Nononono, Sandy Whitlock you’re going insane. I can’t do this to my brother!” Bird refuses. “Ladybird…” Kitty puts her hand on Bird’s shoulder, “it’s the safest way” Kitty says softly like a well tuned violin.
“Let’s not waste any time now…I am going to tell Darrel but I promise on my darling sister’s grave that he won’t tell” she promises, “ok…that’s alright with me.” We spent the next 30 minutes running around grabbing stuff for the journey, blankets, soft clothes, warm heat packs. Kitty is on autopilot, which is expected, her best friend and co-captain got pregnant her junior year and that ended with her pregnant and shot dead in the clavicle. “Let’s go!” Kitty yells, Birdie hugs me tightly “bye Sandy, I will see you soon” I smile at her words, “ bye Tweetybird” I jump in the car with Kitty, still on auto-pilot. “Say goodbye to Tulsa my friend, this might be your last time” she sighs.
Run run captain you gotta get out while you can.
This sucks, part 2?
A short story about my human stEx AU.
(This is when Greaseball (Derek) and Dinah were 22 and 20 and Greasy (Gale) and Di were 11 and 10
Derek (Greaseball) to Dinah: “Hey Dinah!”
Dinah looks up from cooking: “yes Greaseball?”
Derek, pointing to Greasy: “My little sister thinks your cousin is cute!”
Gale (Greasy), throwing herself under the table: “DEREK STOP!”
Do y’all know what what TikTok I’m referencing?
I think that older Misty also played Wednesday makes so much sense
I swear that the whole Once Upon a Time budget went to Regina’s outfits. Money well spent
A letter sent to Richard Valence from Kitty Lebeau shortly after Nancy Adderson’s death
I think their should be like a new Tony award category that’s best replacement actress/actor, replacement might not be the right word, and like it’s actress/actors who replaced the original actor/actress after they left. Like a great nominee for this category would be Alex Joseph Grayson who took over the role of Dallas Winston after Josh Boone left. What do y’all think?
Sometimes the twins have different ways of providing for the family.
Soda got a job at the DX alongside Steve
While Ladybird, with the addition of being a waitress, started selling (r@k with Evie and Angela to help send Pony to college.
Great big siblings, right?
