I think a lot of you have seen gifs

White colour really suits Alain tbh, and he has a lot of clothes in white colour, this colour kinda resonates with him even in it's meaning in Armenia, where white is considered ritually pure, it was the color of clothing during baptism and at the same time the burial shroud at funerals. So particularly person is born in white and dies in it, and it was a big part of all these rituals.

But I guess mostly we're all associating Prost with colour blue. You know right..

So in Armenia blue colour is mostly associated with old age, grief, death. Blue for Armenians is the color of loss, illnesses, and blue was worn as a sign of mourning (mainly for a distant relative). At the same time, blue is also attributed with healing power, and it was widely used in healing magic and amulets against evil spirits.

And I have my favourite fact about death in armenian culture btw! Before burial family put rock in the hands of the dead relative, so they won't haunt their loved one. (It can be a member of the family, a lover or even a friend)

People believed, that this rock was some kind of replacement for the dead, because If you won't give it to them after the death they will feel lonely and they'll feel the lack of something, so they will haunt their loved one until they join them in afterlife.

I keep thinking abt Brazil going from their first F1 World Champion, the Literal Nicest Dude Ever, personification of a ray of sunshine on a stormy day, loyal to the point it literally fucked up his entire career, willing to stick his neck out for people without asking nothing in return, someone who has never disliked a single human being ever, to their *second* World Champion, who couldn't give a shit about anybody as long as he got what he wanted, who enjoyed wreaking havoc and talking shit just for love of the chaos it would cause, who had no brain-to-mouth filter and actually really enjoyed that immensely, to their THIRD fucking World Champion, who was quite literally insane and shaped his entire career around the best way to put a specific dude through hell and publicly humiliate him as thoroughly as possible, just because he liked him too much.

alain prost would not have stopped the '84 monaco race in the rain if it hadn't been his car upon which didier pironi's ferrari impacted horribly in the rain at hockenheim two years earlier, getting airborne in a tragic repetition of gilles' accident and resulting in didier' legs being horribly mangled (he had to undergo more than 30 surgical operations, never recovered full functionality and thus could never race cars again). alain himself said that he used to like racing in the rain before that.
