Nezha says, "I've lost already. What are you coming over here for?" Sun Wukong has an awkward expression, "The way you lost was way too casual. You're hurting my reputation." Nezha responds, "I've got no choice. The people up top sent me to fight you and I don't feel like it. So here we are." Sun Wukong says, "Come on, kid, why'd you have to act like this though? If the people up top sent you, couldn't you at least bluff a bit?"

Second panel shows a close-up to Sun Wukong and Nezha. Sun Wukong has a mildly scheming expression, while Nezha remains nonchalant. Sun Wukong says, "But I do like your attitude. Say, how about we compete in something simple. That way we can buy you some time before you go give your report up top." Nezha considers this, "Hm..." Third panel shows Li Jing, looking down. He thinks, "Sounds like the battle down there is quite fierce." Below him are speech bubbles reading, "HA!", "AH", and "DESPICABLE!" I love them all, Marshal Liu is such a good teacher taking all the new soldiers out to capture Bajie when he came on the mountain.

Also now imagining the one just a monkey to be in armor cause they want to defend the mountain just like the monkey demons are.

Can we know who the unmoved soldier is? Is it one of Wukong's generals or marshals maybe?

They just look so done and are probably playing elevator music in their head while pigsy lays on thick narrative to wukong. I would like to give them some tea and a nice blanket to wrap in for whatever break they seem in desperate need of.

Oh yeah, so the one on the right with the neat headpiece is Marshal Liu! One of Wukong's advisors and generals! I have drawn him before but I finally made a design update for him bc I wanted him to look more like a general than a solder! He is tired and he needs a holiday honestly- :'D The cute boys on the left are just normal soldiers but Liu trains them and sometimes takes the boys to the 'missions' like this one. I need to draw them honestly bc I already decided that they will be my characters!
