I feel like that's kinda the point. Chaos isn't going to be something that stays consistent, much like how chaos in our lives is never consistent. I personally like the change and hope that if there is anything past Hades 2 that they continue to change it because I think it works perfectly for who I believe Chaos is like.
I also feel that the head is included to show that chaos always leads to change, and what better way to represent change than a whole change of design but still making it known, especially for those who've played Hades, that Chaos is change.
I don’t know how to feel about this. i like the design but it’s so different from the first game (esp with the head from the first game in their hand) so I want to know why they felt the need to change chaos’s design at all. chaos was conventionally attractive in the first game wrt their face so I want to know if this is meant to lean into that—and once again, why
Tone tags are not your punchline.
Tone tags like “/j” “/srs” etc are accessibility tools. They help neurodivergent people understand the explicit tone of written text that would otherwise be only implicit and therefore difficult for us to understand. If you use tone tags in a joking or disingenuous manner, you’re not only going to end up confusing a lot of people, but it’s also just plain ableist to make a joke out of an accessibility tool, something that a lot of us rely on to understand and communicate with people online.
Especially considering the whole point of tone tags is for them to be used in the most genuine, accurate manner possible, someone knowingly misusing them just means they’re doubling down on their ableist disregard for neurodivergent people who might read it.
If you post something somewhere as a joke but end it with a “/srs,” fix it. Delete it. Don’t do it again. Tone tags are not your punchline.

okay maybe I’m biased, but did it bother anyone else how literally none of the characters acknowledge that Harlan /is/ like family to Viktor? When they’re deciding whether or not to give him to the Sparrows it’s always “Harlan saved our lives” or “Viktor owes Harlan for giving him powers”. Not “Viktor partly raised him” or “Harlan is like a son to Viktor”. Family is soooo important but Harlan doesn’t get to count?
i seriously hate when someone is like “well xyx could be related to this mental illness or neurodivergence” and someone feels the need to come in like “well *I* have depression/adhd/am autistic/etc. and i shower consistently, am not messy, understand social cues, am great in school and work, and am overall a functional and ‘normal’ person so it’s no excuse uwu” literally shut the fuck up lmao
like what do you get by shitting on other neurodivergent ppl who struggle more than you do? of course having something like autism isn’t an excuse to do whatever you want with no regards to others, but it can explain why you struggle with other things more so than neurotypicals do. give us a little patience and understanding. don’t act like just because YOU can “overcome” your conditions it means the rest of us are not trying hard enough or are being lazy or whatever.

I feel like a lot of people fail to see how similar umbrella Ben and sparrow Ben are and that bothers me a lot : they're not entirely different characters.
It really bothers me how most people see umbrella Ben as this pure little angel(tm) while he's not ? Of course we didn't see that much of him cause, yk, he's dead, but he was sometimes harsh, and just as pragmatic as sparrow Ben. Like remember when he wanted the brellies to kill Grace ?
When Sparrow Ben tells Viktor to put his shit together cause the apocalypse is happening and they don't have time for that, that something umbrella Ben did with Klaus and Viktor in the past, the only difference is that he has emotional attachment to them, and sparrow Ben doesn't.
That's also why I love that Klaus had a chance to talk about him, cause he's the only one who truly remembers how umbrella Ben could be a little shit sometimes, while the others forgot because of grief.
That was a long way of saying : stop making umbrella Ben into the shy nice little angel he's not.
Klaus telling Diego he "barely got out with his life" when Hazel and Cha-Cha tortured him back in S1 but now we know he probably actually did die a couple of times in the process and just CAME BACK TO LIFE WITHOUT EVEN REALISING ?? Klaus ?? 😭😭
I know that people have already been saying that Viktor’s coming out felt rushed and I know they might’ve done more with that if they hadn’t already had much of the scripts written by the time Elliot came out, but!
As a trans guy myself there’s something really nice about seeing a character tell family he’s trans and having them just be like okay cool and move on. The way that I have constantly had to explain myself to people in my life and constantly have seen trans people in media have to explain themselves is so exhausting.
So, sure, I can absolutely understand people feeling like it was kind of flat. But it’s also nice to have a trans character just get to *be*.
Two hearts, stupid clothes, you can’t miss him! Go on, scan the whole parsec, he’s not here! God knows where he is right now, but I promise you he’s doing whatever the hell he wants and not giving a damn about me, and I am just fine with that!
