my dad recently launched an indiegogo campaign for his buddysaurus project!
it started out as an inspirational daily webcomic sort of thing but he’s been working on making his ideas into more products
check it out!
Found this in an article from Brain Pickings and now I'm in love.
The Book of Miracles: Rare Medieval Illustrations of Magical Thinking
The theme of my day is crows - Earlier I stumbled upon an article about a little girl who receives "gifts" from crows everyday (left the link to the podcast about the girl) - took a ride with a friend and he put in "The Crow" soundtrack - and now this post... Crows. http://www.thebittersweetlife.net/podcast/episode-51-crows/
And these are the gifts that crows would leave that little girl in exchange for her leaving them food.

Here is a picture of J.R.R. Tolkien looking at some flowers in a greenhouse. Apparently, he was the worst person to take walks with because he liked to stop and observe every tree he passed very carefully. We can only assume that he did this because he was waiting for them all to reveal their true Ent nature and speak to him. Ents do speak slowly, after all. They were probably between words while he was watching.
"Mo Nighean Donn"
Look what I got! The best thing about this edition is not its pretty cover, but the fact that it’s a new and supposedly good translation with almost 200 pages of notes. I have only read tiny bits of Dante, so I’m stoked about finally getting this. || “And so my mind, held high above itself, looked on, intent and still, in wondering awe.“
Reading. Reading about reading. Reading about reading about reading.
