“No.” He grumbled, not looking up from his tablet.

“Come on, Dean. You loved it and you know it.”

“Ice cream and tattoos?” He looked up and you nodded with an innocent smile. “Last time you mentioned that combo, somebody almost died!”

“Well this time, I won’t let you have 5 spiked pumpkin pie flavors, or let you add your own extra ‘topping’“ You used hand quotes and shot him a glare.

He sat back in the chair, losing interest. “No.” You gave him a pout, and your best puppy dog eyes. “Ain’t gonna work, sweetheart. I grew up with him, remember.” He motioned to Sam across the table, nose in a book. “He invented that look.”

“I’ll let you choose my tattoo…” You sing songed, and his interest was peaked again.

“Anything I want?”

You nodded. “No complaints, and no covering it up. You can even blindfold me and pick where it goes.”

He mulled it over for a minute, but you knew you had him. “Done.”

“But.”

“Fuck..” He mumbled, slumping into the chair again.

“I get to chose yours.” He shot you a look. “Hey, have I ever gotten a bad tattoo?” You motioned to yourself.

“No.” He sighed. “Alright, get your damn shoes on.”

The tapping of heels on the concrete floor garnered the attention of every soldier in a fifty-foot radius, half stepping out of the way in fear, the other half respect. Alejandro looked up when Rudy nudged him in the side and nodded the way the sound was coming, and his expression fell with an, “Aye mierda.”

Ghost and Soap turned around to see what had shaken the Colonel so badly, only to come face to face with a young woman dressed rather elegantly for such a rough base. She rounded the table, a sickly-sweet smile on her face. “Alejandro, mi amor mejor.”

He smiled back at her, but his was fearful. “Mi alma. Lo siento, I forgot—”

She raised a hand and he fell silent, pursing his lips as she tipped her head to the side and inquired, “How many years have we been married, Alejandro?”

“Going on five,” he replied, a tone of pride in his voice even at the apprehension on his face.

“And in those going on five years, what is the only request that I have made of you?”

Alejandro swallowed thickly, shifting on his feet. “That I text you before five, so you know whether to leave dinner on the table or not.”

She nodded, making an exaggerated gesture of showing him her watch. “What time is it, mi amor?”

He looked at the screen, muttering, “Siete y media.”

Her eyes crinkled as she smiled. “A little past five, isn’t it, Colonel Vargas?”

“Mi alma,” he hurriedly started. “Lo siento mucho. Me olvidé completamente del tiempo. Se escapó de mí. Estamos en una misión importante aquí. Esos dos tipos allí son Soap y Ghost de un grupo de trabajo. Me están ayudando con una misión. Alma mía, lo siento mucho, por favor perdóname.” His long-winded speech ended and he took her hand, pressing his lips to her knuckles. “Mi alma, I’m sorry.”

She made a noise but nodded. “I guess I can forgive you since you used your friends as an excuse.” Lifting her other hand, she held a lunchbox. “Supongo que deberías tener suerte de que te amo más que nada.”

Alejandro took the lunchbox from her, wrapping the same arm around her waist as he pulled her in and kissed her hard. “Me tratas como a un rey, mi alma. Qué haría sin ti?”

This time, she grunted at him. “Starving to death or dead in a ditch. Probably in that order.” She pulled away and flicked him in the forehead. “The next time you miss texting me, I’m going to plant my foot in your ass, okay dear?”

He chuckled and kissed her temple. “Sí señora Vargas, Entiendo.”

She pulled away and walked back around the table, standing in front of Soap and Ghost; eyeing them up and down she hummed and looked at Alejandro. “Invite them for dinner tomorrow evening.”

“Pero, mi alma—”

“I told you what I told you, Alejandro. Figure it out.” She waved it off as she left, the sound of heels clicking along the concrete floor.

Soap grinned like a madman and looked at Alejandro. “Hermano, why didn’t you tell us you were so whipped for a drop-dead gorgeous woman.”

The Colonel scowled at him and warned, “Esa mi esposa, verga.”

#SPNFamily Fundraisers

Since the Supernatural finale aired, fans have been creating campaigns to raise money in honor of their favorite characters. So far, so much good has come out of it! We have raised over $60K for multiple organizations. I thought I would share all of the current ones I know of.

The Castiel Project, created by prfoundbond, supports The Trevor Project. They focus in suicide prevention among LGBTQ+ youth. The original goal was $1500. So far, it has raised over $47,700.

Dean Winchester Is Love, created by wearedeancas, supports NAMI. They focus on building better lives for those who are affected by mental illness. The original goal was $1500. So far, it has raised over $10,700!

The Sam Winchester Project, my fundraiser (witchchester), supports Together We Rise. They assist foster youth. This campaign helps displaced college students w/grocery, utility, & housing resources. The original goal was $250. So far, it has raised over $2200!

The Jack Kline Project, created by dearkmnj + CROWLEYBEANS, supports Random Acts. They focus on making the world a better place with one random act of kindness at a time. The current goal is $1500. So far, it has raised over $1000!

The Miracle Project, created by adoreyouackles, supports ASPCA. They focus on preventing animal cruelty throughout the United States. The current goal is $1000. So far, it has raised over $90!

Gabriel’s Gift, created by zepptapes, supports Action Against Hunger. They focus on giving everyone access to clean water, food, training, and healthcare. The current goal is $2000. So far, it has raised over $50!

The Charlie Bradbury Project, created by ClearlyNoLabel, supports Girls Who Code. They focus on supporting + increasing the number of women in computer science. The current goal is $1500. It just opened a few hours ago!

In honor of Eileen, many are also donating to the National Association of the Deaf. They focus on promoting the rights of deaf people in the United States.

This really is so amazing! I’m so happy that our family took a not-so-great finale and turned it into something positive. Cheers!

Don't hesitate either. Kindness is the right thing to do so always be bold and be kind when you see the chance to be.

Some people, I will admit, are assholes. We don't like them. And having people who are cruel and mean in this world, are the same people that are there to show who you are as a person. You are given the opportunity to be kind or be cold and though it may seem small at the time, it can cone back around.

It is hard to be kind. Whoever said being kind or nice is easy, well, they must've not been doing it right.

Kindness to me is taking a part of yourself, a piece of your time, lending a hand, giving something of you, and letting someone else have it and hold it.

So if you have some extra happiness, share it with others cause you never know who might need it.
