Hey why did you fill the grounds of your estate with numerous multi-fingered ambulatory hands? My sword arm is getting tired...
Had another long Elden Ring session today, so here's my progress:
1. Explored a bunch of new places in Liurnia, mostly on the eastern side.
2. Cleared a few Liurnia dungeons.
3. Started experimenting with some new weapons for fun.
4. Went down into the Ainsel River, via the lift, and killed the Withered Astel and the Dragonkin Soldier of Nokstella.
5. Now trying to breach Caria Manor, to meet the best girl.
I'm really not a fan of the giant ants, they freak me out but at least theyre easy to bait. I think the only enemy I died to was the Deathbird to the East of Raya Lucaria? Almost all of my deaths today were to falling in the Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel while I tried to do the little parkour section, most of those deaths coming as I desperately tried to retrieve thousands of stranded runes over and over again.
I think Liurnia might be my favorite of the two between it and Limgrave? Though that is a very small pool so we will see if it changes going forward.
Reminds of when I told my coworkers at a past job that I read a lot of fanfic and a couple of them were like "the gay porn?" And I tried to explain that 'fanfiction' includes a lot of well-written fiction stories that aren't necessarily sexual or even romantic...
and also there's some gay porn sometimes but that's neither here nor there
I like reading fanfiction because I like being able to absorb every single part of the media that I am interested in, even if its not written by the creators, not so I can read about my favourite characters banging. Fanfiction ≠ written porn, smh.
I am cringe but i am free 🔥
official prt branded kids show protagonist: alright friends, lets show this villain why they shouldn't mess with Banana Bread!
bonesaw neck deep in corpses: ooh. the subtle characterization. the innovative and bold color choices. now this is High Art
Slogging through a thousand words of combat scene for two days and then---suddenly---angst and drama scene happens and 800 words fly by in 30 minutes. The muse is magical ✨️
I did a double-take while scrolling earlier and checked a post I scrolled by because it surprised me and now tumblr thinks I'm into women wearing mid-thigh high heel leather boots
The curse...
i use tumblr and ao3 quite often, and while they aren't in the same category of website really, one being social media platform while the other is an archive of internet fiction, using tumblr makes me appreciate ao3's lack of algorithm every day.
sometimes i'll zone out while using tumblr, staring at something on my desk or just getting lost in thought, but i had stopped scrolling on like, an nsfw post or whatever so now the hyperactive tumblr algo assumes that that is the only content i want to see so thats what my feed becomes. im very glad ao3 doesnt do this, i can ponder a fic and consider it heavily and when i scroll to look at the next one, it is not at all just recommending similar content to the one i happened to be staring at last.
beloved antarc and their dumb friend phos !!!! ALSO!! TYSM FOR 200 FOLLOWERS!!!
it hath gone well so far, I shall continue on the morrow. I do not like the silly bone men in the deathtouched catacombs, though I have now acquired a torch.

it might already exist but holy shit "Becky" by Be Your Own Pet is such a Taylor Hebert song there needs to be an amv. I don't even watch amv's and there needs to be one. does it necessarily fit the vibe 100% or is accurate to events in the book? no, but its real close
