People kept mentioning it on reddit on r/curatedtumblr and it popped up frequently as a crossover in some fandoms I used to read on ffnet so I bit the bullet in September 2024 and started reading. Most of the later twists and turns were spoiled for me because I kept looking up new characters on the wiki to see what happens to them and whether or not I should get attached.
By the end of October I was in literally the middle of arc 24, the chapter right after Cody's interlude, when I decided "this is getting pretty heavy, good stopping point for now" and did nothing but read wormfic until mid-January when I decided that I needed to fully finish Worm to start writing fic about it. So now I write worm fanfiction, that's fun. Hopefully I can finish my current fic by like, May? so then I can start on the *next* wormfic.
its nearly a year since i got into Worm myself so Im feeling nostalgic and curious, how was your first Worm read like? did you stumble across it on your own or did someone else recommend it to you? did you guess any big spoiler correctly, or had some wild theory looking back that you would like to share? personally, i got into it after a friend on twitter shared screenshots on how large the ratio of wlw vs other kinds of ships are in the parahumans fandom fic scene, and she decided to start reading it w me following shortly afterwards out of curiousity and finished reading in around may 2024.
People can say that we will "feel Mother Nature's wrath" and no one cares
But *I* say "step on me, Mommy Gaea" and suddenly it's an issue
So I just watched "Gunsmith Cats", which is a 1995 OVA anime set in Chicago. It's really really entertaining. Only three episodes long, though.
It's about gun shop owners, part time bounty hunters, and full time lesbians (allegedly) Rally Vincent and May Hopkins. The ATF blackmails them into helping solve a gun smuggling case, which expands into a wider conspiracy over the three 30 minute episodes, and likely longer in the manga which I plan to read eventually.
It's a show with a lot of fun 90s seinen charm, really reminiscent of Cowboy Bebop in some ways, but that's mainly in the music, vibes, and fights. The OP is just... so good. A very nice way to spend an evening in my opinion.
I also took some screenshots while watching that I have attached below the cut.
Had another long Elden Ring session today, so here's my progress:
1. Explored a bunch of new places in Liurnia, mostly on the eastern side.
2. Cleared a few Liurnia dungeons.
3. Started experimenting with some new weapons for fun.
4. Went down into the Ainsel River, via the lift, and killed the Withered Astel and the Dragonkin Soldier of Nokstella.
5. Now trying to breach Caria Manor, to meet the best girl.
I'm really not a fan of the giant ants, they freak me out but at least theyre easy to bait. I think the only enemy I died to was the Deathbird to the East of Raya Lucaria? Almost all of my deaths today were to falling in the Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel while I tried to do the little parkour section, most of those deaths coming as I desperately tried to retrieve thousands of stranded runes over and over again.
I think Liurnia might be my favorite of the two between it and Limgrave? Though that is a very small pool so we will see if it changes going forward.
Slaughter house 9 dating sim, it would be a basic visual novel. I’m not sure if you should play a normal person or some newly trigged Parahuman. It’s either super cutesy sort of graphic horror, or leaning into the full horror that is the slaughter house nine. Who would y’all date? The dlc will include old slaughter house members
rotten yuri on my mind
we don't have enough discussion of the mccrae letters in this fandom
fuck my wormpolls are queued out to april
After weeks of not being able to write or just not feeling up to do so, I was actually able to get a bunch of words down today. Did any of them go towards my currently running fic? No. But my outline for a different fic just got a whole lot more robust and developed. 4400 words so far, hopefully I'm able to hit 5000 tonight. woo!
(Poll submitted by Anonymous)
Presumably this is in a scenario where the whole team is stranded after a plane crash or something. Note I am using the warlord era (Worm arcs 19, 20, 21) undersiders core team lineup.

this poll and its results will likely be completely identical, but I just wanted to fix my mistake (omitting Burnscar) from last time.
I want to clarify that while this poll is looking for the lamest member of the Nine, it is specifically not looking for a pathetic loser whose lame nature makes them likable/cute. That poll is tomorrow.
this list only contains members of the nine as of arc 11 (and also murder rat, who was present in arc 11 and was a member, but not both simultaneously)
Make sure to tell me what you think and why you think it!
