Like it's so nice just to see these casually mentioned and not a big deal made out of them. It's part of the world and no one questions it. I absolutely adore it.
Sevika, Vi and Ekko, who never saw eye to eye, bonding after Jinx's death over the fact that Sevika was there for her when neither of them were.
Sevika, telling them about the softer side of the girl with the manic eyes.
The three of them getting together, to try and piece together a full picture of Powder and Jinx. Vi, who knew who she started as. Sevika, who knew who she became. And Ekko, who knew who she could have been.

Southern resident orcas, also known as the southern resident killer whales (SRKW), are an exclusively fish-eating ecotype of orcas that live in and around the Salish Sea. They differ genetically from transient orcas as well as having different dialects and diets. © Rachel Haight - Orca Network
As the great philosopher Uncle Iroh said: "If you look for the light, you can often find it. But if you look for the dark, that is all you will ever see."
Actually life is about waking up everyday and reminding yourself that " There is good in this world even if I can't see it. There is good no matter what happens because bad, good and neutral all exist together. There is good in the world but its just so hidden by the bad and the neutral that it's become impossible to see it but if I look hard enough, if I look into the darkness, I can find scattered lights everywhere, lighting the way. There's good in this world and there will always be good in the world. I just need to look harder." No matter what, even if you don't believe it fully. Because just acknowledging that fact helps
Reading a Terry Pratchett book is literally just: Here's a funny little joke Here's something that you can tell is a joke but don't get and will only figure out five years later Here's a surprisingly cool fantasy concept Here's a unique and well written simile Here's a lil guy Here's something that has aged depressingly well into the modern day Here's something that has aged remarkably queer into the modern day Here's a character that you can barely understand what he's saying Here is the most terrifying and deeply disturbing concept you have ever heard, casually mentioned Here is the dumbest fucking pun you've ever heard but in the best way Here is a quote so profound that it makes you view morality and the world in a different way Here is a plot twist that you can't tell if it's genius or stupid Congratulations! You've finished the book! It has fundamentally changed you as a person and you will never be the same!
