I've finished the stickers but planned to use my home printer and cut them by hand bc im broke rn. unfortunately they come out with a slight pink hue and visible lines on the characters at the bottom. if you have any suggestions on how to fix this, I'd love to hear them

Will you add extra characters like Chenya, Neige, Najima, Deuce's mon in your current AU? :o I'd love see that!!

i will probably do minor characters like chenya and neige at some point in the future (can't say when) but idk about family members....most of them i wouldnt even have anything to say about bc their role/origins would be the exact same. like deuces mom is still just deuces mom, but now she's a blueberry.

i could see doing characters like najma since her origins would need to be different, what with jamil being a giant snake demon. im more likely just to write about it rather than make a design tho.

I got an ask from someone saying they are interested in watching adventure time but I accidentally deleted it :( anon if you are reading this here are some great reasons to watch it!

the later seasons are really awesome bc they start going really heavy on the lore and start to develop more of an overall plot. it's like watching the climax building in a movie but spread out over multiple seasons. it is 100% the best lore ive seen in a cartoon.

the show is really convenient to watch bc each episode is only 11 minutes but there are so many of them you dont get sad about finishing it too soon. this was back in the days of cable so theres anywhere from 20-50 episodes per season (yes, 50).

it's one of the only shows ive known that keeps the same voice actor for the entire series. the actor started around the age of 12 so you can literally hear him getting older throughout the show and the character gets older with him, voice cracking a lot and slowly deepening. i find it cool that they chose to do that instead of keeping the character eternally young.

you get attached to characters in ways you dont expect. as more things are revealed about them you begin to feel their loneliness, their insecurities, their desires. since the show lasted so long they had really amazing opportunities to develop the characters over a prolonged period and didnt need to rush it.

easter eggs! concept art! backgrounds! if you are an artist it's hard not to become obsessed with this show. and all these things are very well recorded online. even at the age of 26 i can think of ways that adventure time has influenced my art.

the idea of a post-apocalyptic setting being fantasy instead of sci-fi is so creative and unique. im personally not a fan of sci-fi but love fantasy and they did so many amazing things with this universe and it worked so well.

it is genuinely so funny. I think i actually laughed more rewatching it as an adult than i did as a kid.

you will gain a new appreciation for tom kenny if you've only ever heard him in spongebob. (also the VA who plays princess bubblegum played starfire, and jake's VA played bender)

if you do end up finishing the show (that will take a while) you have even more to look forward to! Distant Lands and then Fionna and Cake! the wiki also reveals some amazing stuff about each episode and you learn a lot of things you didn't know before (i dont recommend reading it while watching the main series bc it wont hide spoilers)

anon you and i are some of the few in this fandom w impeccable taste.

putting this under the cut bc theres a loooot

they met bc cater was traveling through the garden kingdom for the first time and stopped at trey's bakery (it was still run by his parents at that point). trey had lived in the GK his whole life so was very interested in cater's travels and all the places he's been. cater invited trey to come over to wherever he was keeping his suitcase house at the time to see all the stuff that he's collected from his travels and they become friends. they start dating maybe after a year of knowing each other?

they broke up bc cater could never find the confidence to truly be vulnerable around trey, and he found it really hard to date someone and still try to mask his depression (along w his other issues). like, he desperately needed to be able to talk to trey and show him his true self, but was also terrified if he showed that to trey, trey wouldnt like what he saw. this was really caters issue he needed to overcome (he shoudlve either gotten therapy or not been dating) but trey wasnt innocent either. he 100% knew of caters issues but never really took the initiative to try and get cater to open up, not bc he didnt care, he just. felt like it was easier to not talk about it. he's fine w bottling up his own trauma so it didn't seem like it was that big of a problem (denial).

what cater really needed was someone who would show him that same vulnerability and really make him realize it's ok to show that side of yourself to someone you trust (and also not expect trey to read his mind). and trey needed a push to understand that a relationship is more than a friendship w kissing, it requires you to actually take an active role and put yourself in uncomfortable situations sometimes.

cater was letting all these feelings build up w no release, and so instead of talking to trey he felt it was better to just break up. trey really didnt put up any fight, just kind of shrugged and said "if that's what you want" (trey was also in the middle of taking over the bakery from his parents at this time so he was dealing w a lot more than usual) so that in caters mind was more than enough to feel confident in his decision. so yeah it was both their faults and they still majorly pine for each other.

also the BIGGEST victim in all of this is cay cay the carrot. he sprouted out of the ground while trey and cater were dating and cater jokingly named him cay cay and pretended he was like their kid. he is basically a child of divorce

nobody really knows the true details of their breakup and riddle and trey didnt really start reconnecting until afterwards. so riddle isnt really friends w cater, they are acquainted but riddle is under the impression cater just used trey for some fling so naturally he is pretty skeptical of him (cater is aware of this, he awkwardly tries to pretend everything is cool). but there would be some plot where they are forced to spend time together and their friendship really evolves bc i love love love cayrid friendship i have so many thoughts on them. cater never felt like he could talk to trey but riddle actually opens up to cater (whether willingly or in a moment of anger) and cater feels brave enough to talk about some of his own issues. riddle also tells cater he can call him by his first name (he usually goes by garden prince).

riddle learns more about what actually happened between them and offers a lot of insight (as best he can being a royal prince deprived of a childhood) to them separately. riddle's friendship w both is a major factor in them becoming friends again and actually feeling comfortable w each other (they are unaware he was playing both sides). eventually the whole HL gang is hanging out together often enough that it's like trey and cater are dating again. and then after a lot of honest conversation they agree to give it another try. (also this is all happening across multiple seasons while A+D still remain the overall focus of the show and the others slowly start getting their own branching plotlines)

their happy ending is cater making the decision to sell his suitcase and find an apartment in the garden kingdom (or close by). the final treycater scene would be trey helping cater move in. they have to go through like a hundred boxes of all the stuff cater has collected while he decides what to keep and what to throw out (he wants to keep all of it). he starts working with trey in his bakery and finally builds a life in which he is not always wandering.

absolutely! i've talked about it a little bit here but i want ppl to treat it just like canon twst, which means you can disregard or partake in whatever ships you want. even if its not "canon" in the au, it doesnt mean i dont ship it or discourage other people from doing so.
