Hawks - Pre-Takami's Universe

Blood was a familiar taste. So was ash. Choking down food as fast as possible to get out there because fucking hell, there are people to save. He can't spend his time sitting around and not doing shit.

"Hawks, this is Strand coming in from the Jean agency." His earpiece crackled to life. The wind whipped by his body, the chilling temperatures seeping into his bones like an old friend.

"Hawks, reporting for duty." His voice was light, airy, and just a little playful, "watcha got for me, Strand?"

"Cleanup on Musutafu, highway 48-B."

Ah.

Well! Nothing like a bunch of dead bodies to start his day, right?

"Elaborate." His voice was just as easy as before, rolling from his mouth smoothly. Just like I was trained to do. Didn't he have a stutter once?

"Yes, Number One." Strand responded immediately, voice even and clear despite the hint of chaos he could vaguely pick up from Strand's surroundings.

Hawks ducked beneath the clouds and banked around nearly immediately, tucking and diving.

Those All For One Truthers sure did make some problems when they really wanted to.

THE BUNNY IS HERE GUYS I LOVE HER SM

I got more creative and added printed out 'pixels' and stamps and it made it look even better.

The 5 and 6 cat girls are because she's the 56th girl added. The stamp of Sanrio's sugar bunnies is because she's a rabbit. The skunk is from Littlest Pet Shop, and is named Pepper, like her. I wanted to add Arven, from Pokémon Scarlet/Violet, (since his Japanese name is Pepper), but I didn't have room.

I absolutely love her outfit, though I wish I could've added more dimension to her skirt. I was stumped on what to draw for her outfit, so I flipped open an old book of mine, (Shopkins Shoppies, Ultimate Handbook, by Jenne Simon, from the Scholastic book fair), and it got me inspired. I opened up to Polli Polish, by the way.

I wish I had Peoper in game, because she's such a cool character. Alas, she's doomed to an event.

On the page, I was able to fit all her ships. I tried to figure out realistically who'd she be with, and I wasn't able to come up with much. Her and Esper would get along swell, however. Pepper practicing show magic and Esper practicing real magic. I think it's growing on me.

her outfit is an outfit i have, except with a shoestring belt and words on the tank top

personally, i feel she's a kenomimi, and probably a therian and furry too

i really only see her with Elle and Juliet at most, with Elle as her service dog/them being super sweet and cuddly girlfriends, and Juliet being the one she guards and being her knight x princess thingy

I feel Mio and Sawyer probably 'share custody' of her in reality, but I don't wanna think too hard on that right now

after about five minutes of research (aka going into my game and looking at the possible gifts for the four base monster girls)

ADDITIONAL HEADCANONS:

In both AU's, he's consistently in the top 20's/15's of the hero rankings, but he hasn't been able to break top 10 (this greatly frustrates him)

He's covered in piercings and tattoos in both AU's and has earned the moniker of being "Japan's resident bad boy"

His agency is located in Fukuoka, Japan. He teams up with Hawks a lot (the two are good friends)

He lies about when his birthday is (he says it's on Jan 31st, and that's what the general public has accepted. The only ones who know when his real birthday is are Hawks and his family.) He does this because he usually doesn't celebrate it. The most he does is go out for drinks with Hawks (or Fuyumi and Natsuo if they pester him enough) or take the time to visit Rei at the hospital

Despite what some may think, he actually has a very low spice tolerance. He can put up a pretty convincing front, but when no one is looking he'll need to chug the nearest beverage and gets the worst stomach cramps
