"no yeah," matt huffs, standing up from where he sits at the table. "I think it's in my room, let me go grab it." his eyes dart between you and chris, whom leans against the counter with his arms crossed. "you sure you don't have it?"

"if you don't have it I'll go check my room." chris says, running a hand loosely through his hair.

matt nods before heading to his bedroom.

chris peaks around the corner before walking up to you, giggling a quick "hey."

"hi, chris," you smile up to him.

he leans down pressing a quick kiss to your lips. "I've been wanting to kiss you all day," he mumbles, kissing you again.

you cup his face in your hand, deepening the kiss as chris slides a hand to the small of your back to pull you closer.

you giggle lightly before patting his shoulder, "okay, chris, matts gonna be back in like two seconds."

he huffs reluctantly and steps back to the counter. sending you a sweet smile right before matt walks back out of his room.

"I only have the sleeve," he huffs, tossing the vinyl sleeve on the table. "go look, chris."

chris rolls his eyes before heading downstairs to look for the vinyl. meeting your eyes with a smile before disappearing to the bottom floor.

The Bitlife Challenge.

Roll the dice each year starting with 10 years old, you will need 2 dice.

Start: You are only allowed to press ‘start a new life’ and abide to the situation & the stats that you’re born with, no restarts until your character dies.

Until you’re 10, you can live however you want. From ages 10 to 18 use only 1 die, you’re allowed to roll once a year.

Roll 1 - Set sexuality according to the Bitlife tendencies, if you’ve already set your sexuality, roll again.

Roll 2 - Spend time with each family member, have a conversation with them or ask them for money, 1 option/ family member.

Roll 3 - Do something in the Mind & Body category or go to the Movie Theatre.

Roll 4 - Get into a new relationship. If you already have a partner roll again, if you get 1-3 you’re going to cheat, if you get 4-6, you break up first, if you’re too young for a relationship roll again. 

Roll 5 - Study harder in school & try to get your driving license if you haven’t yet.

Roll 6 - Go to the doctor one and try to cure any type of disease you have if you have one, if not, roll again.

When you turn 14 roll once for education.

Roll 1 - try to drop out of high school and find a job

Roll 2 - finish high school then get a job

Roll 3 - try to go to graduate school or a community college.

Roll 4 - go to University, if denied, roll again.

Roll 5 - get even higher education, if denied, roll again.

Roll 6 - do as you please

From ages 18 to 30 use 2 dice and roll twice per year. From ages 30 to 60 (if you’re still alive lol) you’re allowed to roll once a year. When you turn 60 roll once with one die to decide your will.

Roll 1-2 - Goes to charity

Roll 3 - Goes to the children/favorite child

Roll 4 - Goes to the partner

Roll 5-6 - Divide equally

From 60 to the moment you die, you’re allowed to roll every other year. One year you roll, one you don’t

Roll 2 - It’s time for crime, roll again with one die for a crime option. Roll 1 - Murder someone | Roll 2 - 5 - Pickpocket someone | Roll 6 - Steal a car if you have a driving license, if not, roll again. In addition, you will assault anyone who disagrees with you for the next 5 years.

Roll 3 - If you’re offered drugs, alcohol or weird food in the next 5 years, you have to accept it. If, for example, you rolled this option at 22, and you roll it again at 25, it’s 5 years starting from 25.

Roll 4 - Play with money and change your life. Use 1 die and roll again. If you roll 1, you go to the Casino | Roll 2 - you bet at the Horse Races | Roll 3 - You quit your job and get a new one | Roll 4 - You buy 1 lottery ticket | Roll 5 - You buy 10 lottery tickets | Roll 6 - Emigrate wherever.

Roll 5 - Divorce / break up with your partner and find a new one, you can use the dating app or the find a date option.

Roll 6 - Spicing things up? Try to find a hook-up or set up a threesome if you already have a partner.

Roll 7 - Try your hardest to get married and/or have a baby this year. Propose and plan the wedding, then try for a baby. If you’re already married then try for a baby. If you’re engaged then plan the wedding and get married. If there is no pregnancy/ If the relationship isn’t heterosexual, you’re allowed to use fertility treatment once, if that doesn’t work out, you try to adopt. If the adoption was not approved, roll again. If your partner declines any proposal (marriage/ to have a baby) you may either break up or roll again.

Roll 8 - Spend time once with each and every person that appears in the Relationships category, including nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Roll 9 - Go clubbing, go to the movie theatre, or gym, or library, meditate. Do any of these and then you get an extra roll.

Roll 10 - Buy a new car, or a new house. You may also ask for a promotion. You may buy 1 lottery ticket if you want.

Roll 11 - You’re allowed to go to the doctor or have an intervention, if you’re addicted, you may also try to go to rehab if you choose to do so. Roll again with a die. Roll 1 - go to Witch Doctor | Roll 2 - Colon Hydrotherapy | Roll 3 - Homeopathic Doctor | Roll 4 - Chiropractor & Acupuncture (both) | Roll 5 - Medical doctor | Roll 6 - Plastic Surgery. If you roll 6 for Plastic Surgery, you have to roll again, and if you get another 6 you’re going to have to go through sex change surgery (if you can’t afford it roll again) If you roll any other number other than 6, you can choose the plastic surgery you have, except the sex change one.

Roll 12 - Go on vacation then buy 10 lottery tickets, if you have no money, roll again.

What happens if:

• You’re in debt - If your debt exceeds 100k, roll with one dice. If you roll 1-3 you will end your life, if you roll 4-6 you will struggle to survrive, sell your real estate, your cars, get a better job. 

• Me/ my partner got pregnant - Roll with a die, if you roll 1-3 you don’t keep the baby, if you roll 4-6 you get to keep the baby.

• My partner proposed - Roll with a die, if you roll 1-3 you deny the proposal, if you roll 4-6 you accept the proposal.

• My partner cheated, wants to break up, called me a nasty word - Your choice

• I was offered drugs, alcohol, weird food to eat - Check roll 2 and 3.

• I got into an argument - Check roll 2.

• Any other pop-up text - The choice is yours

What if I am in prison? You will roll once every year with one die.

Roll 1 - You end your life

Roll 2 - You start a riot

Roll 3-4 - You will try to appeal your sentence

Roll 5-6 - You have a try to escape from prison.

“So you’re… gay?”

Steve Harrington tilts his chin to catch the eyes of Mike Wheeler, but he only has them for a split moment- before Mike’s eyes are focused back on the woods that surround Steve’s house.

“Bisexual, but yeah.” Steve shrugs.

“But you dated Nancy? And Heidi? And-”

“Just because I’ve only ever dated girls before— it doesn’t mean that I’m not still into dudes.” Steve says softly, before he shrugs again. “I’ve thought plenty of dudes were hot-”

“Like who?” Mike spits. Steve knows he doesn’t really mean it.

“Harrison Ford, Dio, Tommy H.,” Steve ticks each name with his fingers. “But I think girls are still, wow, y’know? Brooke Shields, Carrie Fisher, even Molly Ringwald.”

“I just-” Mike blows out a sharp breath from his nose, and his dark eyes cut back to Steve. “I was with El for so long.”

And there it is. Steve hums, soft and prompting, and Mike huffs again as he tilts his head down to look at his clasped hands. He’s fiddling with the friendship bracelet there, the one that matches the one around Steve’s wrist, the one that every member of The Party wears.

“And I was with Nancy for a while, too.” Steve shrugs again. Turns when he can feel heat on his back, catches the eyes of his boyfriend, and just waves a hand in his general direction. Knows he’ll get it. He does. Steve turns back to put all of his attention onto Mike again. “Doesn’t mean that all I felt for her wasn’t real, it was.”

“I-” Mike huffs. “I wasn’t sad when El broke up with me. Not when I can see that she’s all happy with Lucas and Max.”

“Mhm?” Steve hums.

“And like, part of me thinks I deserve it? Like, I want to be happy for Will. I really do.” Mike sniffles slightly, his brows raise and disappear underneath Mike’s bangs. “But like, I’m also sad? Like can I be sad? I’m not sad he’s happy I just…”

“You… just wish you were the person making him happy?” Steve suggests, voice soft and like syrup. Mike nods. “That’s okay.”

“Is it?” Mike’s voice is sharp again. “Because I’m not, I’m not mad at Max for making El happy. I’m not mad at Lucas for making El happy.”

“No?” Steve twists, plants his back against one of the pillars of his back porch, and quirks one of his eyebrows.

“No, it, I-” Mike groans before he runs a splayed hand over his face and sighs. His eyes cut back to Steve’s, and his brows furrow. “Are you mad at Nancy and Robin for dating?”

“No.” Steve answers resolutely. “Nance and I, we ran our course.” Steve sighs. “And there is always going to be a part of me that loves your sister, but it… just not in that way anymore.”

“Because you’re gay?” Mike questions.

“Because people are allowed to change.” Steve keeps his eyes closed as he tilts his head back to rest against the pillar. “You’re allowed to change your mind about things. About people. About the things you like and enjoy.”

“Like how Lucas joined the basketball team?”

“Sure.” Steve shrugs. “Or like how Ellie is planning on joining the cheer squad.” Mike’s nose crinkles, and Steve bites back a laugh. “Or like how Dustin usually plays a bard, but is giving a go at a paladin the next campaign you nerds play.”

“But I… I was an asshole.” Mike sniffles again, and Steve nods. “Like, I was so mean to you and to Will and to just… to- I was just a terrible person.”

“Maybe you weren’t a terrible person,” Steve says softly, coaxing. “Maybe you were just fourteen.”

“But-” Mike sniffles, uses the palm of his hand to wipe angrily at his cheek. “I was so mean to Will and to El and to just everyone. Including you and you’re out here talking to me instead of inside-”

“You’re one of my kids, Wheeler.” Steve cuts in, a little sharp to get Mike to cut himself off. “One of mine.”

“But I’m not, I’m not Dustin.” Mike sniffles again, scrubs at his cheek with his sleeve again. “Or Max or El-”

“No, no you’re not.” Steve ignores the way Mike deflates. “Dustin is my brother, and Max and Ellie are my sisters- but you.” Steve sighs, soft again as he watches the fifteen year old next to him. “I think you’re my favorite out of the brats, kiddo.”

Mikes head jerks up, eyes wide and searching and a type of earnest that makes Steve ache. Mike’s bottom lip wobbles, just slightly, before he nods.

“So it’s, I’m-” Mike huffs. “Not a terrible person?”

“You’re fifteen,” Steve says. “You’re just fifteen.”

“Okay.” Mike nods before he lets himself look at Steve again. “So it’s, I’m, not terrible if I’m sad or something about Will and Gareth?”

“Nope.” Steve doesn’t push.

“Okay.” Mike nods, before he stands on shaking legs. “I’m gonna, uh, go wash my face.”

“Alright, use my bathroom upstairs if you need.”

Steve is quiet and just watches the trees as Mike walks back inside, but he turns his head slightly when he hears the back sliding door open again.

“Baby love,” Eddie murmurs as he comes, coming right behind Steve to press a soft kiss to the very top of Steve’s head. “You and Wheeler okay?”

“Mhm,” Steve nods, but let’s Eddie direct him to lean into his chest anyway. Smiles as he glances down at Eddie’s sock-clad feet, toes wiggling as he shimmies to be able to cradle Steve to his chest. “Mike’s jealous of Gareth.”

“Oh shit,” Eddie breathes, and Steve hums again as Eddie nuzzles a kiss into the area where Steve knows there’s still a hicky that’s been bitten into his flesh. “What’d you say?”

“Told him he’s just fifteen.” Steve shrugs as if that explains it, and at Eddie’s soft hum- Steve knows it sort-of does. “They’re all just fifteen.”

“Nah, Gareth is sixteen.” Eddie nuzzles another kiss against Steve’s neck. Steve feels Eddie smile into the skin there, feels the slight stubble as Eddie rubs his cheek against Steve. “And he’ll still run away from you screaming if you try and adopt him.”

“For now.” Steve bites, but there’s no heat there.

“For always.” Eddie adjusts his hold, taps a light beat against Steve’s abdomen with a drum of his fingertips. “I love you.”

“I love you too, baby.” Steve turns to be able to press a soft kiss to the swell of Eddie’s scarred cheek, and Steve smiles at the feeling of it under his lips. “Do we need to get back inside?”

“Probably,” Eddie hums, before he wiggles his fingers again. “Max and Ellie are not-so patiently waiting for you to join them again so you all can finish watching The Breakfast Club.”

“I’m telling you, it’s gonna be a cult classic.” Steve says as he feels Eddie pull himself away.

Steve smiles though when Eddie helps him up, a soft hand lingering and eventually staying on the small of Steve’s back. Eddie smiles down at Steve before he cocks his head slightly, and then leans down to press a kiss to Steve’s forehead.

“For the record?” Eddie cuts his eyes back up to Steve’s, doe-eyed and glimmering, before he’s talking. “You were just seventeen.”

Steve nods. Eddie smiles, and tilts his head in a gesture toward the backdoor.

“C’mon, sweetheart.”

Steve smiles and lets himself follow.
