Do you ever just, take off your glasses for the effect? I mean I can’t see shit but sometimes you gotta wonder if you’re actually seeing this shit or your glasses are playing tricks on you. I just like the emphasis. I find it fun.
Ahhh I freaking love Zombie Detective. It’s sooooo good. It’s a Korean comedy drama. There is a romance but I view them more as besties. (That’s just me though.) I am all in for the friendship vibes from this show. I love it. The characters are all so lively. It makes you laugh and cry but mainly laugh. It’s just so fun.
Oh, sorry, found myself doomscrolling on your page. Pay no mind to the flood of likes. I am merely enjoying your humour and presence in this online world.
Okay okay I just watch Color Rush 2 and (spoilers included) hear me out.
Poly. That’s all I really want to say. What if, all three of them just start going out. I think it’d be fun. But also, I just, I don’t think the way they see colors would be like that. I don’t think seeing colors would automatically be euphoria or anything, like yes I enjoy colors but hearing about colors would probably make them sound fantasy like with how others would stress over how much better it is but it’s not like seeing in grayscale is bad. Like okay I’m sorry but I think it’d be way more overwhelming and headache inducing to suddenly see more colors. It’d be interesting but something someone has to get used to, and there’d be a disconnect for a while. Anyway, sorry I have a lot of thoughts about how the shock of being bombarded with differing visuals would take a toll (listen I know he faints the first few times but also like I don’t think seeing colors would automatically be magical. I think it’d be more nauseating for a while there.) ahem, okay yeah still love it I just, lots of what-ifs, you know (and it’s super interesting to me, these aspects)? Anyway yeah poly, I think it’d be cute. Do I think they’d all get along? No. I think they’d need to get used to it first but I would love to see how they would interact with each other. Yo I’m just imagining so many different scenarios. Clearly the first things that happens when (I don’t remember any of their names) the guy (the probe? one) shows back up without a mask and both the others faint. I just, man I think it’d fun. Okay I’m done rambling for now. I’ve got sooo much shit to do but this makes me feel happy so yeah. Have a good day/night!
Sleep is cruel. I go to bed before midnight, I wake up at midnight. I go to bed at midnight I wake up at 5am. I go to bed later than midnight I wake up at 2pm.
For the bl trope ask game: 5, 7, 10? If possible please. This seems really cool to do. Have a wonderful day/night!
I love when I get repeats because I get to consider different shows! My initial answers for these were:
5. Second Chance Romance: His
7. Star-Crossed Lovers: Until We Meet Again and I Feel You Linger In The Air
10. Bodyguard: KinnPorsche
Lemme see what else I've got in the tank...
Second Chance Romance
I will always prefer a second chance romance that is truly about regrets, forgiveness and trying again to one about never having taken the leap in the first place. The End of the World With You (Bokura no Micro na Shuumatsu) is one of the best I've seen. Ritsu is seeking absolution and reconciliation before the world ends, and Masumi is equally determined not to forgive. The journey they go on...well go watch it if you haven't already.
Star-Crossed Lovers
The problem with star-crossed lovers is that BL as romance is indexed toward the happy ending. Tragedy is NOT what the girlies come here for, so the stories have to find a hook, like time travel or past lives, to smuggle the tragedy in while still allowing a happy-ish ending. I'm gonna round out my star-crossed trifecta with He's Coming To Me, because a living man and a ghost falling in love is the very definition of stars being crossed.
Bodyguard
For all its flaws, Never Let Me Go made a solid attempt at the bodyguard romance and I really enjoyed it in parts. Jojo really swung for it with this one and while I don't think it was entirely successful, it was for sure discussable.
You know how some fictional characters can detect lies? Do they like, detect the degree of the lie? Cause I know there are a lot of small white lies that merely bend the truth. Would they take the entire thing as a lie or would they have like a percentage on the amount of truth in that statement. For example if one said they were late due to work stuff but in actual it was the mental preparation having to socially interact. I don’t think this is a good example but it’s late and my brain doesn’t have the energy to think of more. But what I mean is just like small mostly truths. Would they have a percentage of the degree in which the person altered the truth or would the character just take the entire statement as false? Well I’ve let the random thoughts out and now… maybe I’ll sleep. Or not. Who knows. Have a wonderful day/night.
Me every time I send an ask
Should I do this? Should it be anonymous? What if I’m bothering them? Did I word it right? I should delete it, right? Mmm but I want to ask. (´°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ω°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥`)
I feel like part of the reason I’m not enjoying Xenoblade 3 as much as Xenoblade chronicles 1 is that every character essentially has the same backstory. They’re all child soldiers. Which, is kinda boring. There’s no interesting dynamic of the meeting of different cultural views like there is in the first game. I highly enjoyed learning about the different ways of life, belief systems, and biases that the first game has. It also doesn’t help that the tutorial is multiple chapters long in 3. And even then you still get more and unlock important exploration abilities based on the heroes you meet far later than anticipated. The amount of times I have tried to jump on a zip line only to not have that ability, so all I can do is stare at a chest beyond my reach. I just feel like some parts of the game could be executed in a way that feels less of a slog. I have to say the more I play it it is a tad more enjoyable than when I started the game. However, it really doesn’t help that none of the characters have a differing backstory so far. Ah that’s enough of my ramblings for now. Have a wonderful day/night!
You know how I said I was better? Guess who’s sick again! Wooooooooooo! T^T
Let’s see what to ramble about this time. I’m actually in a good mood for this post so ah I have no idea. Oh I’ve just started watching Jazz for Two. Seems very fun so far. I don’t have any of their names memorized at this point in time so uh I love the blue ish haired ones personality a lot. I too tease the shit out of my friends, lovingly of course. And to the one friend I have who knows about this blog, you know. Anyway I just find him to be fun. I’m looking forward to seeing how every characters friendships progress. Though I am worried about how stressed certain plot points might make me. Though, I kinda only know some clips from this show so I got nothing on where the plots gonna head. Can’t wait to find out.
Oh I also found another show on YouTube (idk if it’s the official version though) called Furious Duos. I don’t think I quite understand what’s happening in it but I am gonna try to watch it later.
Missing: The Other Side. One day I’ll be able to finish you. One day. Once you’re back on a streaming service I hopefully have. Pls, I need to know what happens.
Anywho, ah I’m in a good mood. I’m gonna get back to watching Jazz for Two and maybe even get some food. I had so much work to do today and finally get to rest. Still have a little bit to get done but now’s my resting time so I’ll worry about it later. That and if I set aside an hour I should be alright. Oh, still rambling. Have a wonderful day/night! Take care!
