I have been desperately trying to work on a knight/royal huntlow fic, and HOPEFULLY I can finish it, but here’s the last thing I wrote for it:

There was fear in her eyes. Fear for him.

He would be flattered, he thought, if he wasn’t so scared for her in turn.

I don’t think ace culture is dead. I wear my ace ring every day, it gives me hope. I had it custom made with a little white lotus on it from Avatar the Last Airbender to remind me of that quote from Uncle Iroh: “In the darkest times, hope is something you give yourself. That is the meaning of inner strength.”
