I understand why you think Naruto loves Sasuke but why do you think Sasuke loves Naruto? I don't really see it

My man…..you “don’t really see it”??

Do you see Sasuke’s genuine concern for Naruto’s safety and desire to protect him from other people??

His guilt at hurting Naruto himself??

The happiness and positive energy he feels when Naruto’s around??

The way Naruto can bring out his emotions like nobody else??

The way that Naruto has impacted him??

The relief and joy he felt when he realized he didn’t have to fight him anymore??

That he said Naruto was the ONLY person keeping him from being totally alone??

It is all right there…no investigative work or reading between the lines required. There’s actually even more but I don’t have that kind of time. Hope that answers your question. 

This thing here just destroyed every head canon or shit about Sasuke returning to Konoha because of Sakura. Like, stop.

It was so annoying all that “OMG Sasuke shiden is a SS novel, SASUKE RETURNED BC OF SAKURA!” No. Is a Sasuke’s novel, about his feelings and his most strong bond with his most important person and that person is not Sakura.

He said before this that the only thing that tied him to Konoha was Naruto and now we have this here in where a letter from Naruto makes him smile and he decided to finally return to Konoha. It wasn’t a letter from Sakura. If Sakura words are in there or not is stupid af because she has a hand and she can write a fucking letter for his friend or what? She’s scare? Please. Sasuke only thought about Naruto in all this novel even when there are a lot of forced moments of certain “couples”

But this and the original manga say it all. The one who saved him was Naruto, the one who never gave up on him was Naruto. His weakness is Naruto. He said that Naruto makes him feel in home and remember him of his family and remember him of love.

I don’t even care if after this we have all that NH and SS shit and ilogic moments in where they’re all OOC again. Because this is the real Sasuke.

He returned because of Naruto. He called Konoha a “home” because of Naruto. He has faith in Konoha because of Naruto. He adores him and his own world, he himself said it in the novel.

There’s a spot in Sasuke’s heart that no one has, and it belongs to Naruto not Sakura. Your fucking welcome. 😘

Things it’s actually in character for Sasuke to do.

1. Go out of his way to spend time with Naruto

2. Believe in Naruto

3. Feed Naruto, even when it’s forbidden 

4. Steal glances at Naruto and smile

5. Smile at Naruto in general

6. Think about Naruto with a longing expression

7. Protect Naruto from other people, even after he decided to kill him

8. Be touched by Naruto’s words enough to cry

9. Initiate touch with Naruto

10. Be more worried about Naruto than killing Itachi

11. Notice little things about Naruto

12. Be more impacted by Naruto than anybody

13. Watch Naruto from afar and constantly pay attention to him on the low

Notice how many things apply to Naruto and not to Sakura. He’s smiled at her on occasion and protected her as well…but that’s really the extent of it. Naruto is the one that Sasuke was truly close to, the one he truly loved and yearned for. It makes me so sad to see this all overlooked and brushed aside when his feelings for Naruto are such a huge part of his character. SS shippers are obsessed with being “canon” but this is all canon too and not for the sake of making more money. We don’t need Sasuke to act OOC to make our ship work. Naruto is Sasuke’s “one and only”, he said so himself and that will always be true.
