The world is full of accidental snake throwers!  

I’ve had snakes tossed at me twice myself.  Once during an animal demonstration at the zoo when the keeper holding a corn snake had a sudden and very intense hiccup, and once on an extraordinaily ill-fated middle school backpacking trip when one of the other girls thought she was picking up a necklace in the bushes and instead picked up a garter snake and panicked.

I’ve also had spiders, birds, cats, lizards and on one particularly memorable occasion, a small shark lobbed at me on acident.  It happens, and cake is an appropriate way to apologize.

Someone has to have written this right? You can't just leave us like that

Danny is a sewer monster. He is a little snakey fella.

The Bats catch word of a creature in the sewers that not even Grundy or Killer Croc want to tussle with.

This is how Jason ends up treking through the sewers looking for whatever stole his favorite jacket. He stumbles across a nest(?) that has an odd glowing rock in the middle. He found his jacket though...wrapped around the rock.

Danny finds Red Hood in his nest, the guy isn't hurting Ellie so he seems all right.

Now the Bats are panicking because Jason's gone missing.

Jason is not complaining.

Look, maybe I am not looking in the right places, but can we talk about how shady the Fenton's "parenting style" must look to everyone else in Amity? Maybe not cannonically, but the fandom really needs to start thinking about it.

We should talk about how easily it is to confuse vigilantism with abuse.

I want Danny with unexplained bruises every other day and the A listers assuming the worst.

I want Mr Lancer seeing Danny start struggling with school for, apparently, no reason and see him sleep on class and realize those are signs of abuse.

I want people to see how protective Sam and Tucker are and realize there's something they are protecting him from.

I need Valerie to see Danny run off at any sign of ghosts and suddenly "oh Fenton doesn't look scared of ghosts" and it clicks in her mind that maybe he's running from his parents.

I want people to see Danny do uncanny things, or have too much pain tolerance, or brush off whatever Dash came up with today and think "huh, that doesn't sound right"

I want the metaphor for child abuse in the show to become a little bit more real in the narrative. Is that too much to ask? I want them hearing the horror stories of the Fenton's cooking and start putting together that "oh, maybe they don't actually... mind experimenting on themselves" and who's to say the same fate didn't happen to Danny or Jazz?

Who's to say where evil scientists stops and child endangerment starts? And if suddenly, Amity Park has started to make Danny's life a little bit easier by making the Fenton's life harder, well, correlation and causation are one hell of a drug.

People start to get annoyed at him and are like "what so you don't think boys can wear dresses!" And I imagine that in an attempt to not be a hater, while also keeping his secret identity, he says that Freddy's magical girl persona (no idea what it would be called) is way better than Billy and now he's accidentally in a fandom war with half of his school

He's also invited to Freddy's fanclub and honestly? He can get behind this

What if Billy developed one of those creepy basement dweller older male fanboy clubs

NO what if magical girl billy was super popular in his middle school and he was constantly trying to avoid conversations about it

I love menacing guard Danny, but this may be even better than that

Danny’s been living in Gotham a while now

He didn’t think being a security guard At Arkham asylum would be so boring and so exciting all at once

one hand it’s doing the same thing every day

But on the other hand it’s finding new and tiny little ways to make the jokers life horrible

And he has that little voice at the back of his head sounds suspiciously like his sister talking about not being cruel to the mentally ill

But he has a much better image of all the ghosts talking about how they were killed pointlessly just for a mad man’s laugh and that little voice in the back of his head kind of shuts up

And he may not be allowed to kill him but he can torment him

By purely an honestly convincing him that he can’t escape because of the stupid guard The guy who always loses his keys The guy who forgets his gun and Tayser The Guy who says bagel wrong

The guy who always forgets what day of the week it is and it’s driving the joker insane

And Danny would be laughing at how good of a job he’s doing but he refuses to laugh when it has anything to do with that sadistic clown

Dick breaks his arm doing something stupid and Alfred's patching him up

Robin!dick: have you seen this before?

Alfred: the stupidity of man is entirely unoriginal, of course I've treated this before

And then in the future, dick trying to comfort a scared kid

Kid: have you seen this happen before?

i love the emt dick grayson headcanon and i think it's so much more apt than the cop plotline for a lot of reasons but i'm also obsessed with the fact that in this scenario, injured bludhaven residents scared that they're dying are being treated by a guy whose examples for medical bedside manner are "detached englishman" and "bruce wayne under psychological stress"

No but like, this is great, because Cass can help him get legal protections for being a meta, help him get bat gear, and all sorts of stuff when she finds out about phantom, they could be a hero duo! Black bat and phantom would be the perfect combination of scary and charming

Danny was forced to flee from his home universe due to the actions of the Guys in White.

At first, his new universe of choice seemed amazing! Sure the crime rate seemed higher than back home, but superpowers a known thing! If his powers are discovered, he’ll have actual legal protections! And better yet, they have actual living aliens!!

But then as he tried to integrate himself into a normal life, he found the catch.

Apparently, pheromones and associated “pack” instincts are an integral aspect of social interactions in this universe. And since he’s from a different one, he has neither.

It’s like being an outcast at Casper High all over again.

Without the pheromones, he comes off as uncannily flat to basically everyone he meets—never mind how he’s constantly missing context about the people around him. And even if someone does try to connect with him, it seems like his lack of pack instincts might make him come across as dismissive anyway.

He already struggled with social cues sometimes before, but this made things a million times worse.

Luckily, he’s already found a light in the darkness.

Cass.

He’s not quite sure how he befriended the quiet girl, but she’s the best. Even without having pheromones, she seems to just get him. Plus, she’s been indispensable in helping him learn how to understand and navigate social situations properly.

As far as he’s concerned, she’s basically an angel.

He gets the sense she was an outsider like him too once, though he hasn’t tried to pry into her backstory. The last thing he wants is to damage their friendship.

Which is also why he’s trying to keep his growing crush on the down-low too. He doubts she feels the same way, so there’s no reason to rock the boat.

Y’all, there’s a severe lack of fics where Phantom reunites with Dani while being the newest member of Young Justice and Conner sees Phantom being such a good big brother to her despite knowing fully well that she’s his clone and eventually wants to be Phantom’s brother, too.

So I guess what I’m trying to say is,

Prepare yourselves.
