No problem, though, like I said, I’m not sure.
I’ve also heard that they might be trying to revive him though. I’m not sure how.
What's going on with Peter? I disappeared for like a week and people are freaking out. What's up? Please explain
Parasite noticed the pause in their voice, the slight hesitance. That usually meant regret or nervousness, didn’t it?
Make a connection with her to acknowledge that you know that something’s wrong, but don’t push it or make a fuss about it.
“Ah, I get that. I’ve been doing good though, surprisingly.”
They should get it over now, just… cut the bandage off? Wait, no, that was wrong, it was rip the bandaid off, that was it.
“Can I… Show you something? It’s nothing weird, I promise, just- well… It’s hard to explain?”
Wow, great job trying not to sound weird!
Gwen didn't go to Hudson Yard often. That would be obsessive. She didn't even expect to find Alice there.
But she would be lying if she claimed she didn't spend more time at the park than she used to. It was a good place to rest and sometimes patrol got stressful, so she'd take a few minutes and stop by.
Yeah, part of it was that it reminded her of Alice and she was able to feel a little less odd for a few minutes, but she wasn't trying to find them. That would be invasive. Gwen was getting better at recognizing that.
She sighed as she pulled at the grass, letting her mind wander. She tried to stay alert, she really did, but it felt like such a chore when there was simply her, grass, and air. So she let it go for a bit.
The wind blew at her side, not too strong, but it still made her shiver.
She heard footsteps as people wandered by. Not many, but some. Few stopped, which made sense. It was late and Gwen stayed hidden from the walkway between a tree and some bushes.

Parasite had been lurking around Hudson Yard too, though they hadn’t been doing so as much.
Parasite had been in partial symbiote form. They had started to get more and more confident each day with it, especially after realizing that this was New York, where most people were used to aliens and mutants.
That didn’t change the fact that people still hid away, or grimaced, or moved away, or started to reach for concealed guns whenever they saw them, which was why they had been lurking a bit in the more shadowy parts of Hudson park when they had seen Gwen again.
Parasite almost did a double take, seeing the first person that had treated them normally and given them a chance. They had almost charged forwards before remembering that they didn’t have Alice as a host anymore, and seeing a symbiote host charging at them probably would be quite the alarming sight. Instead, they stood there for a moment, just staring, trying to contemplate what the next best move would be. They were really starting to regret not telling Gwen before they had parted they were a symbiote.
Silly captain guy, take this photo of the time I possessed/bonded to a cat
I’m having a really shitty fucking day please reblog with pictures of your pets
“Good!”
Usually that wasn’t true. Normally they didn’t even like to linger on feelings other than hunger, but they actually felt excited.
*Wheelie skips over to the spot that Parasite said and he looks around.*
Heyyyy, I’m here!
*He’s wearing a bright pink unicorn hoodie and pink cargo pants so he shouldn’t be too hard to spot.*

Parasite drops from the tree, letting go of the ant they had temporarily grabbed onto.
“Hey! Over here!”
The small alien moved closer, looking up at them.
Between Hawkeye and the Thunderbolts trailer its been established in canon that Yelena wears her widow bites even when she's not in a Widow suit and I think that is adorable and scary at the same time.
“Unfortunately I have yet to find a permanent host. I had one in the past, but… They are long gone. I’m still searching, though, I will admit, I’ve started to loose some hope along the way. What about your host? How did you find them?”
Another of our kind, fascinating, to think others share our idea!

“Oh, hello! You’re a symbiote too, I see! It’s always such a pleasure to meet another of our own kind.”
Oh? Oh! Venom!!! Hello! Fellow symbiote!!! How do you do?

FRIEND?
FRIEND!
“Yeah, that’s pretty much how it works! As for the bonding part, I… Don’t think that would be a very good idea either.”
(anyone is welcome to fill out the bingo card, just make sure to @/ me in it!)
“Oh! Your hosts, you mean?”
Parasite perked up at that, seemingly much more engaged in the conversation and no longer half zoned out as they heard the mention of VICE’S host (One would think that the mention of something so sensitive would make Parasite offended, but oftentimes it had quite the opposite effect).
“Well, Recluse and Bluejay sound like very nice people. Keep them safe and close, if you can.”
A small blob, the size of a subway rat approaches. It is grey, with a full spectrum of colors dancing over it.
“Hello. We I have not met another of my kind before. I am VICE.”
— @bluejayandvice
“Salutations, little one!”
Parasite crouched down to Vice, their eyes wide as they examined the symbiote
“Vice, you say? I’m Parasite. It’s a pleasure meeting another!”
