The Accountant squared is a hell of a movie it has the Batman element the Red Hood element the sort of double identity element in a way and the Oracle element (and it sort of shows how scary it could be) as well as a Jim Gordon element lmao. It has the dudes being platonically affectionate element. Incredibly incredibly refreshing. It has the “lived in each other’s pocket except that pocket is a bullet proof vest” element so much so that I think @frownyalfred produced this movie. so yes essentially a Batfleck in-universe masterpiece
i noticed they keep making karen wear ballet flats or little kitten heels so i looked up her height and omg she's 5'10 deb the stallion fr but they should have been putting her in 5-9in heels the whole so she can tower over all these men. intimidation tactics
It says a lot—a lot, a lot—that Karen and Frank didn’t get closer than a couple feet from each other this whole episode. The chemistry is too strong and would’ve blown up the “triangle” once and for all, let’s be honest here.
he fell in love with her steady hands.......
I'll be damned if this rewatch hasn't made me into a Matt/Elektra shipper
And just to be clear: this is a rewatch, so I know she's going to be revived.
Bonus points to Kastle bits:
the way I NEED Kastle to become canon for my growth and development as a person
cuz if Matt and Karen become endgame, I will turn into a villain. Matt already had his chance with her, and he's gone and dated a whole bunch of other women. Karen deserves someone who wants her as desperately as Frank does!!
Karen all but said she’d choose Frank over everything, including Matt, in season 2 of The Punisher. The only reason she didn’t is because Frank didn’t let her. He fought her on it because he thinks she deserves better.
And now 6 years later, Matt picks up on their feelings for each other IMMEDIATELY. After being present for just one conversation between them.
I never in a million years expected Kastle to be canon in any capacity. It’s surreal.
I love how Matt says shit like "Frank! Stop it" during fights when Frank is killing people. He sounds like a pet owner scolding his misbehaving dog. It's like he's about to ask him to “Drop it!" and "Let the man go, Frank”. He's giving "I love my dog (Frank), but I just wish he would stop chewing on the furniture (killing people), you know?" energy.
Well fucks? Get to it!
