Happy Valentine’s Day! :D I usually make a set of valentines every year and send them to folks via a giveaway…but because of the move this year, I didn’t have time. I did manage to make one tho! Capturing what I think is the most important part of Valentine’s Day: Sharing love with the people in your life who need it most. Have a great one. :)

Fight Like a Girl Hand-Painted T-Shrit

Inspired by the strength and valor of the Womens March on Washington, I decided to support the movement the way I know best: with artwork. This t-shirt is the product of that inspiration. I made a drawing awhile back called Fight Like a Girl, featuring a woman boxing with the saying on a banner hanging on a wall. I wanted to make this idea of feminine strength and persistence available to everyone, so the phrase you fight like a girl would never be used in a derogatory sense again. The t-shirt itself is a womens V-neck in black. The design is hand-painted using fabric paint and cardboard cuts of the designs different features. Please note that although I do use different cardboard cutouts to try and get the design precise on each t-shirt, they might vary slightly from shirt to shirt, as I still have to have paint them.

I was so inspired by the strength of the women of the Women’s March on Washington that I wanted to contribute to the cause the way I knew best: with artwork. I had made a pen drawing last year of a woman boxing with the phrase “Fight Like a Girl” on a banner on one of the walls, and I decided to take that symbol and saying as the focal point of this project. “You fight like a girl” should never be taken as something derogatory, rather it should be a source of strength and pride that pushes women to keep moving forward. 

The design is now being offered as a t-shirt on my Etsy site. If you’re interested please take a look, I want this phrase to spread and serve as a catalyst for this incredible movement. 

3D Printed Fidget Gear Bracelet

This is a spinoff of the 3D printed fidget gear necklace I released a couple of days ago. Its the same 3D print as the necklace, so it also features the ability to play with and move around the gears! This bracelet is ideal for someone that wants something to fidget with discreetly to help them focus. I personally use it myself; I find it very relaxing. The bracelet is one size fits most. It uses a sliding knot to allow the user to easily put it on and take it off (plus its also fun to fidget with, as Ive done with bracelets similar to this one!). The charm measures 1.25x1. The gears are attached with a printed axle with stoppers at either end, allowing them to spin freely.

Hey! Since it looks like a lot of people seemed interested in the 3D printed Fidget Gear necklace I made a couple days ago, I decided to also make it available as a bracelet!

Again, I find it extremely helpful, like many people, to have something that I can fidget with to keep focused, so a bracelet or necklace like this could help out a lot of people!

The bracelet itself also features a sliding knot, making it easier to put it on and take it off (and also gives you something extra to fidget with XD).
