I only offer the comfort that my goddess, Brighid, has taught me to give, but it’s yours:

May the mantle of Brighid wrap around you, bringing comfort and shelter, loving your self for what she is, for that self of yours is right and good.

May the hammer of Brighid ring out, ring true in your heart and mind, ring with a force that strikes lies and cruelty from the mouths of any who would curse you. Those words crumble like ash, while your heart glows with peace and self-love as a sword does when shaped on the anvil. 

May the song of Brighid pour through you, reminding you of your wisdom and courage, her beauty beckoning to your beauty, singing out the song of your true self, true in the same way your heart knows to beat, to sing “I am. I am. I am.”

idk if this is a hot take or not (it really shouldn’t be) but: include us folks with trichotillomania and dermatillomania in your body positivity. if you’re not accepting of someone because they have bald spots or picking scars or missing eyebrows, you’re not accepting of all bodies. we deserve to be loved, bfrbs and all. if you’re going to say “normalize this body” and “destigmatize this sort of body” and “all bodies are beautiful” but then turn around and call me gross and disgusting for having a giant bald spot on my head? you’re a hypocrite. accept us. let us feel seen. let us feel heard. let us feel beautiful. let us feel loved. because i for one am sick and tired of being treated like shit because of my bfrbs
